The DFB laser eliminates the external grating needed for conventional pump laser designs, enabling much higher levels of integration. The Lumentum T13 Series operates at up to 200mW and meets the telecommunications industry’s stringent requirements including Telcordia GR-468-CORE for hermetic 980 nm pump modules. The pump modules target single-channel and narrow-band amplifier applications for high-bit-rate transmission modules and CFPx transceivers.
