Avec la nouvelle architecture, les utilisateurs peuvent ajouter des fonctionnalit\u00e9s et assigner de nouvelles missions avec un push logiciel, comme on ajoute une application sur un smartphone. Cette nouvelle technologie, SmartSat, est une architecture satellitaire d\u00e9finie par logiciel qui renforcera les capacit\u00e9s des charges utiles de plusieurs nanosat.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Imaginez un nouveau type de satellite qui se comporte davantage comme un smartphone. Ajoutez une application SmartSat \u00e0 votre satellite en orbite et vous avez chang\u00e9 sa mission\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Rick Ambrose, vice-pr\u00e9sident ex\u00e9cutif de Lockheed Martin Space. \u00ab\u00a0Nous sommes les premiers \u00e0 d\u00e9ployer cette technologie au cours de plusieurs lancements. SmartSat apportera \u00e0 nos clients, r\u00e9silience et flexibilit\u00e9 pour r\u00e9pondre aux missions, tout en lib\u00e9rant une puissance de traitement plus importante dans l&rsquo;espace.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Cette ann\u00e9e, Lockheed Martin a int\u00e9gr\u00e9 la technologie SmartSat sur dix programmes, dont les nanosats Linus et Pony Express, qui seront les premiers \u00e0 \u00eatre lanc\u00e9s cette ann\u00e9e. Ces &nbsp;satellites qui &nbsp;servent de banc d&rsquo;essai sont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s sur des fonds internes de &nbsp;R&amp;D.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les premiers nanosatellites LM 50:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le projet Linus fournit deux cubes 12U pour &nbsp;une mission de d\u00e9monstration technologique, validant les capacit\u00e9s SmartSat ainsi que des composants de vaisseau spatial imprim\u00e9s en 3D.<\/li>\n<li>Pony Express comporte plusieurs satellites 6U destin\u00e9s \u00e0 une orbite terrestre basse et qui permettra de qualifier les technologies r\u00e9seau les plus r\u00e9centes. Pony Express 1 est un guide pour une charge utile d\u00e9finie par logiciel qui testera l\u2019infrastructure de cloud computing. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e en neuf mois.
