L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de direction de ST a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 que la gestion de l&rsquo;alimentation constituait d\u00e9sormais un facteur cl\u00e9 pour l&rsquo;avenir des mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 large bande passante\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9. \u00abC\u2019est un changement majeur dans le domaine des dispositifs \u00e0 haute tension et ST, pionnier de cette technologie, veut aller tr\u00e8s vite et prendre les devants, avec une part de march\u00e9 bien au-dessus de 30%.\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Le march\u00e9 des semi-conducteurs de puissance pour les voitures \u00e9lectriques atteindra plus de 3 milliards de dollars en 2025 et 10 milliards de dollars dans les dix prochaines ann\u00e9es, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9, et ST a l&rsquo;intention de dominer ce march\u00e9. \u00abST veut absolument \u00eatre le leader des composants haute tension\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">L\u2019accent sera initialement mis sur le carbure de silicium ( SiC ), fabriqu\u00e9 depuis 2003 dans la Fab de composants de puissance de Catane, en Sicile, initialement \u00e0 partir de plaquettes de 2 pouces. Catania g\u00e8re d\u00e9sormais des plaquettes de carbure de silicium de 6 pouces produites par un certain nombre de fournisseurs, y compris Cree. ST a acquis une participation majoritaire dans <a href=\"http:\/\/ST investit dans Norstel pour contr\u00f4ler la chaine SiC\">Norstel en Norv\u00e8ge<\/a>&nbsp; au d\u00e9but de cette ann\u00e9e et demande \u00e0&nbsp; ses partenaires fournisseurs de produire des wafers SiC de 8 pouces pour permettre une production en grande s\u00e9rie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00abActuellement, nous achetons les plaquettes, mais gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 Norstel, notre ambition est d\u2019\u00eatre int\u00e9gr\u00e9s verticalement et de contr\u00f4ler toute la fili\u00e8re\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Marco Monti, pr\u00e9sident de la division automobile de ST.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">L&rsquo;entreprise passera \u00e9galement de la technologie \u00ab\u00a0Planar\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0Trench&nbsp; SiC\u00a0\u00bb d&rsquo;ici la fin de 2019, ce qui augmentera le nombre de puces par plaquette. \u00abNous sommes en train de qualifier la technologie \u00ab\u00a0Trench\u00a0\u00bb et allons convertir la production l\u2019ann\u00e9e prochaine et garderons les deux technologies en parall\u00e8le\u00bb, at-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9. \u00ab\u00a0Nous allons rester avec le planar pour les applications automobiles.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Alors que le SiC sera principalement utilis\u00e9 pour les MOSFET 650V pour onduleurs et la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie dans les voitures \u00e9lectriques, ainsi que pour les chargeurs rapides CC-CC, les composants 1200V et 1700V seront utilis\u00e9s dans les onduleurs de panneaux solaires et les infrastructures de r\u00e9seau intelligent, ainsi que pour l&rsquo;alimentation des centres de donn\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9veloppe \u00e9galement une technologie de nitrure de gallium GaN ( <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.electronique-eci.com\/news\/stmicro-en-partenariat-avec-le-leti-pour-le-gan-en-volume-sur-200mm\">STMicro en partenariat avec le Leti pour le GaN en volume sur 200mm ) <\/a><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">qui sera fabriqu\u00e9e \u00e0 Catane et \u00e0 Tours, en France, d\u2019ici \u00e0 fin 2019, a ajout\u00e9 M. Monti.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Les dispositifs SiC et GaN seront second\u00e9s par des puces de commande reposant sur le processus bipolaire \u00ab\u00a0smart power\u00a0\u00bb CMOS-DMOS (BCD) fabriqu\u00e9s dans les fabs d&rsquo;Agrate, en Italie, et \u00e0 Catane, afin de fournir l&rsquo;isolation galvanique inductive et capacitive n\u00e9cessaire. \u00abCe que nous appelons les \u00ab\u00a0drivers\u00a0\u00bb sont construits en technologie BCD, o\u00f9 nous d\u00e9tenons une part de march\u00e9 de 40%\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M.
