Le&nbsp; carbone est \u00e9tudi\u00e9 en tant que mat\u00e9riau actif dans les transistors CNT \u00e0 la pointe de la technologie car il offre une alternative plus rapide, mais l\u2019un des avantages du d\u00e9monstrateur de recherche fabriqu\u00e9 au MIT est qu\u2019au-del\u00e0 des FET \u00e0 nanotubes de carbone sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s (CNFET), le d\u00e9veloppement a utilis\u00e9 des outils de conception existants et une infrastructure de fabrication standards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Les transistors au silicium ont bien servi l\u2019industrie \u00e9lectronique pendant de nombreuses d\u00e9cennies, mais l&rsquo;augmentation la vitesse et le r\u00e9duction de la taille physique de ces transistors sont devenus de plus en plus complexes et co\u00fbteux ce qui justifie les recherches sur des mat\u00e9riaux alternatifs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">La recherche indique que les CNFET pourraient offrir 10 fois l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et des vitesses 3 fois sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 celles du silicium, mais le probl\u00e8me non r\u00e9solu des d\u00e9fauts introduits au cours du processus de fabrication ont emp\u00each\u00e9 leur adoption.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">La principale contribution du MIT consiste \u00e0 avoir d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des techniques permettant de limiter les d\u00e9fauts et de permettre la fabrication de CNFET compl\u00e9mentaires contr\u00f4lables, qui peuvent ensuite \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s comme substituts de la fabrication de syst\u00e8mes CMOS dans un flux de conception conventionnel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">L\u2019\u00e9quipe a utilis\u00e9 des contacts m\u00e9talliques en platine ou en titane pour d\u00e9finir les transistors comme \u00e9tant de type P ou N, puis les a recouverts d\u2019un compos\u00e9 oxyde, afin d\u2019accorder les transistors en fonction des performances ou de la consommation \u00e9lectrique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Les solutions du MIT comprennent RINSE (\u00e9limination des nanotubes incub\u00e9s par exfoliation s\u00e9lective), MIXED (ing\u00e9nierie d&rsquo;interface m\u00e9tal crois\u00e9e avec dopage \u00e9lectrostatique) et DREAM (conception de la r\u00e9silience contre les CNT m\u00e9talliques).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">L&rsquo;article de Nature d\u00e9crit la conception du microprocesseur et comprend plus de 70 pages d\u00e9taillant la m\u00e9thodologie de fabrication.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00e0 suivre: \u00ab\u00a0Hello World!\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Le r\u00e9sultat est un microprocesseur 16 bits utilisant le jeu d\u2019instructions RISC-V et contenant&nbsp; plus de 14 000 CNFET. Je suis le RV16XNano, fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de transistors CNT.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Une grande partie des travaux de recherche men\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00e9quipe visait \u00e0 trouver des moyens de contourner les CNT m\u00e9talliques qui avaient soit impos\u00e9 des CNT d\u2019une puret\u00e9 hors de port\u00e9e, soit d\u00e9truit le fonctionnement d\u2019un transistor.
