Les batteries \u00e0 cellule primaire lithium-chlorure de thionyle (Li-SOCl2) et les piles alcalines \u00e0 double cellule (AA ou AAA), dont la tension op\u00e9rationnelle peut descendre \u00e0 1,8 V, gagnent aussi en popularit\u00e9 dans le segment portable \u00e0 longue dur\u00e9e de vie. Cependant, quel que soit le type utilis\u00e9, ces batteries se d\u00e9chargent pour fournir diff\u00e9rentes tensions, tout en maintenant un rail d&rsquo;alimentation de 2,8 V \u00e0 3,8 V, notamment pour alimenter les fonctions MCU, Wi-Fi, BLE et GPS. De plus, une simple topologie de convertisseur buck peut provoquer une coupure pr\u00e9coce du syst\u00e8me si la tension de batterie est \u00e9lev\u00e9e pour maintenir l\u2019alimentation n\u00e9cessaire aux fonctions \u00e9voqu\u00e9es plus haut, laissant ainsi une certaine capacit\u00e9 de batterie inutilis\u00e9e.<br \/>\nAvec le courant de repos le plus faible du march\u00e9, son excellent rendement et sa tr\u00e8s petite taille, le convertisseur buck-boost MAX77827 \u00e9tablit la norme en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;autonomie de batterie.
