Les r\u00e9sultats de Google ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rapport\u00e9s dans Nature.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">L&rsquo;ordinateur quantique Sycamore est enti\u00e8rement programmable et peut ex\u00e9cuter tout type d&rsquo;algorithmes quantiques. Apr\u00e8s la phase de d\u00e9veloppement et de test, l\u2019\u00e9quipe a pr\u00e9par\u00e9 des applications dans les domaines de la simulation en physique quantique et de la chimie quantique, ainsi que dans l\u2019apprentissage automatique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">L&rsquo;article indique que le processeur Sycamore, con\u00e7u et fabriqu\u00e9 par Google, comprend un r\u00e9seau bidimensionnel de 54 qubits transmons, chaque qubit \u00e9tant coupl\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re ajustable \u00e0 ses quatre plus proches voisins. Les qubits sont dispos\u00e9s dans une damier d\u00e9cal\u00e9 de 9 sur 6. L\u2019un des progr\u00e8s d\u00e9cisifs de cette conception d\u2019assemblage qubit est le coupleur ajustable qui contr\u00f4le la connexion \u00e0 chaque voisin le plus proche.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Les qubits sont constitu\u00e9s de jonctions Josephson sur-refroidies avec de l&rsquo;aluminium pour la m\u00e9tallisation et de l&rsquo;indium pour des liaisons entre deux plaquettes de silicium. La puce est connect\u00e9e par fil \u00e0 une carte de circuit supraconductrice et fonctionne \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature en dessous de 20 mK. Le processeur est connect\u00e9 \u00e0 un \u00e9quipement \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature ambiante qui synth\u00e9tise les signaux de contr\u00f4le et lit l\u2019\u00e9tat des qubits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00e0 suivre: quelle est la suite?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Des portes \u00e0 un qubit sont form\u00e9es en transmettant des impulsions hyperfr\u00e9quences de 25ns dans un qubit donn\u00e9. Les chercheurs ont rapport\u00e9 que ces impulsions sont en r\u00e9sonance avec la fr\u00e9quence qubit avec le couplage qubit \u00e0 qubit d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9. Les portes enchev\u00eatr\u00e9es \u00e0 deux qubits sont form\u00e9es par couplage de qubits voisins qui sont en r\u00e9sonance avec un couplage \u00e0 20 MHz pour 12 ns. Cela permet aux qubits d\u2019\u00e9changer leurs excitations, selon le journal Nature.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">L&rsquo;article d\u00e9crit ensuite le test de circuits simplifi\u00e9s de 12 \u00e0 53 qubits &#8211; un des qubits de la matrice s\u2019\u00e9tant av\u00e9r\u00e9 ne pas fonctionner correctement. Une fois que le fonctionnement du processeur a pu \u00eatre v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 par recoupement avec des simulations classiques, l\u2019\u00e9quipe a utilis\u00e9 des circuits durs avec une r\u00e9solution de 53 qubits et une profondeur croissante, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 atteindre un point au del\u00e0 de ce qui \u00e9tait r\u00e9alisable par le calcul classique .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de recherche en a conclut que les processeurs en sur-refroidis sont ainsi entr\u00e9s dans l&rsquo;\u00e8re de la \u00ab\u00a0supr\u00e9matie quantique\u00a0\u00bb.&nbsp;<\/span> <span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Ils ont \u00e9galement d\u00e9clar\u00e9 s&rsquo;attendre \u00e0 ce que la puissance de calcul quantique croisse \u00e0 un double taux exponentiel et suive probablement la loi de Moore avec un doublement des performances de calcul tous les deux ou trois ans, mais qu&rsquo;il faudra prendre en compte la correction d&rsquo;erreur quantique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">L\u2019architecture Sycamore est compatible avec la correction d\u2019erreurs quantiques, expliquent John Martinis et Sergio Boixo, un duo de scientifiques exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s de Google, dans le blog de Google AI. \u00ab\u00a0Nous consid\u00e9rons
