Les hackers (pirates informatiques) \u00e9thiques d’Alias \u200b\u200bRobotics ont publi\u00e9 un article<\/a> d\u00e9crivant \u00e0 quel point il est facile de cr\u00e9er et de d\u00e9ployer des ransomwares de Cobots ou robots industriels sur le robot UR3 de Universal Robots, les Cobots ( Robot Collaboratif) les plus vendus au monde.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abTrop de fabricants de robots b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient de nos jours de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 li\u00e9e \u00e0 leur manque de notori\u00e9t\u00e9. Beaucoup s’en tiennent \u00e0 une position irresponsable en ce qui concerne la cybers\u00e9curit\u00e9, affirmant que leurs \u00abrobots sont ouverts pour faciliter l’int\u00e9gration dans un syst\u00e8me\u00bb et \u00e9vitent d’inclure des fonctionnalit\u00e9s de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 qui prot\u00e8geraient les utilisateurs et les op\u00e9rateurs de robots \u00bb, explique V\u00edctor Mayoral-Vilches, CTO chez Alias \u200b\u200bRobotics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans un appel \u00e0 promouvoir la sensibilisation et faire avancer les pratiques de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l’industrie, les chercheurs d’Alias \u200b\u200bRobotics ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 le premier ransomware (un type de malware qui demande une ran\u00e7on \u00e9conomique) pour cibler les Cobots. Le ransomware lui-m\u00eame, le premier du genre, a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 d’apr\u00e8s Akerbeltz, une entit\u00e9 mythologique basque qui a agi comme un protecteur du genre animal, une caract\u00e9ristique particuli\u00e8re aux robots collaboratifs, cr\u00e9\u00e9e pour collaborer \u00e9troitement et en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 avec les op\u00e9rateurs humains se trouvant dans son environnement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le ransomware Akerbeltz<\/a> exploite plusieurs vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s pour p\u00e9n\u00e9trer le robot, en prendre le contr\u00f4le, crypter et verrouiller compl\u00e8tement le syst\u00e8me, puis exigeant une ran\u00e7on en bitcoins pour le d\u00e9verrouiller. Les chercheurs ne publieront pas le code source du logiciel malveillant, mais ils appellent \u00e0 l’action et avertissent que \u00abdes attaques ressemblant <\/span>\u00e0 Akerbeltz sont \u00e0 pr\u00e9voir \u00bb si les mesures ad\u00e9quates ne sont pas prises rapidement.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abLes fabricants de robots jouent un jeu dangeureux et mettent les utilisateurs de robots en danger avec leur n\u00e9gligence. Les utilisateurs finaux sont habitu\u00e9s \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 par conception comme acquise, et ce n’est clairement pas le cas. Nous demandons \u00e0 nouveau aux chercheurs en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 d’adopter une politique de divulgation qui oblige les fabricants \u00e0 r\u00e9agir avant qu’il ne soit trop tard. Nous pensons que les utilisateurs finaux de robots doivent prendre les devants et commencer \u00e0 s’interroger sur les cyberrisques associ\u00e9s \u00e0 ce type de robots industriels \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Endika Gil-Uriarte, directeur scientifique d’Alias \u200b\u200bRobotics.<\/span><\/p>\n

 \u201cRobot manufacturers are playing fools and are negligently putting robot users at risk with their attitude. End users are used to take security-by-design for granted, and this is clearly not the case. We call again for security researchers to adopt a disclosure policy that is forcing manufacturers to react before it is too late. We believe that robot end users need to take the lead and start questioning the cyber risks associated with these kind of industrial robots\u201d, said Endika Gil-Uriarte, Chief Scientific Officer at Alias Robotics.<\/p>\n
