Les ing\u00e9nieurs ont donc un besoin accru d&rsquo;outils leur permettant de caract\u00e9riser pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment la gigue d\u2019un signal et de conna\u00eetre les diff\u00e9rents \u00e9l\u00e9ments qui la composent.<br \/>\nLa nouvelle option R&amp;S RTO-\/ RTP-K133 permet l\u2019analyse avanc\u00e9e de la gigue par la mise en \u0153uvre d\u2019une approche analytique assurant la s\u00e9paration de ses diff\u00e9rents constituants telles que la gigue al\u00e9atoire ainsi que ses composantes d\u00e9terministes (notamment la gigue d\u00e9pendante des donn\u00e9es et la gigue p\u00e9riodique). Cette approche repose sur un mod\u00e8le de signal param\u00e9trique qui caract\u00e9rise le comportement complet de la liaison de transmission test\u00e9e.<br \/>\nL\u2019un des principaux atouts de la m\u00e9thode d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par Rohde &amp; Schwarz est qu&rsquo;elle exploite un mod\u00e8le de gigue qui comprend l\u2019ensemble des caract\u00e9ristiques de la forme d\u2019onde du signal test\u00e9, contrairement aux m\u00e9thodes traditionnelles qui r\u00e9duisent les donn\u00e9es \u00e0 un ensemble de mesures d&rsquo;erreurs d&rsquo;intervalle temporel. R\u00e9sultat : ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 d\u00e9livre des mesures coh\u00e9rentes, m\u00eame pour des s\u00e9quences de signaux relativement courtes, ainsi que des informations qui n\u2019\u00e9taient jusqu\u2019alors pas accessibles telles que la r\u00e9ponse impulsionnelle ou la possibilit\u00e9 de distinguer la gigue p\u00e9riodique verticale et horizontale.
