Ltd. (QingDao, Shandong, Chine), a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 2018 et a annonc\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin de cette m\u00eame ann\u00e9e qu&rsquo;elle avait sign\u00e9 un accord de licence technologique avec des fabricants europ\u00e9ens de semi-conducteurs, mais n&rsquo;avait pas divulgu\u00e9 de noms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">La startup de fonderie annonce disposer d&rsquo;un investissement total de 15 milliards de RMB (environ 2,1 milliards de dollars US). L&rsquo;investissement de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape est d&rsquo;environ 7,8 milliards de RMB (environ 1,1 milliard de dollars am\u00e9ricains). L&rsquo;objectif du projet est de construire des Fabs 200 mm et 300 mm et un atelier de photomasques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Dans une d\u00e9claration publi\u00e9e par Weebit Nano Ltd. (Hod Hashaeon, Isra\u00ebl) le lundi 24 f\u00e9vrier 2020 annon\u00e7ant une collaboration entre elle et SiEn sur la m\u00e9moire non volatile, SiEn&rsquo;s Chang est cit\u00e9 d\u00e9clarant: \u00ab\u00a0Notre ligne de production sera bas\u00e9e sur la technologie STMicroelectronics, similaire \u00e0 celle utilis\u00e9e par le Leti, ce qui simplifie le transfert de technologie. \u00a0\u00bb Weebit a une \u00e9troite collaboration avec le Leti sur le d\u00e9veloppement de sa ReRAM \u00e0 base d&rsquo;oxyde de silicium (voir <\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewsanalog.com\/news\/second-chinese-chipmaker-signs-weebits-reram\">Second Chinese chipmaker signs up for Weebit&rsquo;s ReRAM<\/a>)<span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Le site Web SiEn en r\u00e9v\u00e8le plus sur l&rsquo;entreprise et sa philosophie. ( La r\u00e9ponse ne nous est pas encore parvenue)<\/p>\n<p>SiEn pr\u00e9tend \u00e9galement \u00eatre la premi\u00e8re soci\u00e9t\u00e9 chinoise de semi-conducteurs bas\u00e9e sur un mod\u00e8le Commune IDM (CIDM) et pr\u00e9voyait de commencer la fabrication fin 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00e0 suivre: les Communards<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Dans le cadre du mod\u00e8le CIDM (Commune Integrated Device Manufacturer), les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de puces Fabless et les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s d&rsquo;applications finales, conjointement dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 IDM commune, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d&rsquo;une capacit\u00e9 de production exclusive et d&rsquo;un support technique pour la fabrication de puces, tout en r\u00e9alisant des \u00e9conomies d&rsquo;\u00e9chelle et en partageant les risques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">TSMC avait un mod\u00e8le similaire en 1996 avec la cr\u00e9ation de WaferTech (Camas, Washington) en tant que coentreprise bas\u00e9e aux \u00c9tats-Unis avec TSMC, Altera, Analog Devices et ISSI comme partenaires. Le mod\u00e8le avait un certain sens en p\u00e9riode de contraintes d&rsquo;approvisionnement, mais n&rsquo;a pas dur\u00e9 longtemps et WaferTech est maintenant une filiale \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re de TSMC et sa seule Fab aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">SiEn semble \u00e9galement avoir un mod\u00e8le d&rsquo;entreprise similaire \u00e0 CanSemi. L&rsquo;existence de cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9e en juillet 2018 avec Chang \u00e0 sa t\u00eate et pr\u00e9voyait de construire une Fab 300 mm \u00e0 Guangzhou (voir <\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewsanalog.com\/news\/idm-or-foundry-cansemi-builds-analog-mcu-strategy\">IDM or foundry: CanSemi builds on analog, MCU strategy<\/a><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">). Avant de fonder SMIC en 2000, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 bri\u00e8vement employ\u00e9 par TSMC apr\u00e8s son acquisition de Worldwide Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. o\u00f9 il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 PDG de 1998 \u00e0 1999. Avec cette longue exp\u00e9rience, Chang a cr\u00e9\u00e9 et g\u00e9r\u00e9 plus de 10 Fabs aux \u00c9tats-Unis, au Japon, \u00e0 Singapour, en Italie, \u00e0 Ta\u00efwan et en Chine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Chang est \u00e9galement un personnage quelque peu controvers\u00e9. Il aurait renonc\u00e9 \u00e0 sa nationalit\u00e9 ta\u00efwanaise apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 \u00e0 une amende de 5 millions de dollars NT (environ 160 000 $ US) par le gouvernement ta\u00efwanais pour avoir pr\u00e9tendument fait des investissements ill\u00e9gaux en Chine dans le cadre de la cr\u00e9ation du SMIC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Chang \u00e9tait PDG de SMIC lors d&rsquo;une querelle de longue date avec TSMC au sujet du d\u00e9tournement pr\u00e9sum\u00e9 de secrets commerciaux. Finalement, SMIC a accept\u00e9 de payer 200 millions de dollars, plus un montant non divulgu\u00e9 d&rsquo;actions SMIC pour r\u00e9gler l&rsquo;affaire. Le d\u00e9part de Chang en tant que PDG faisait \u00e9galement apparemment partie du prix, car Chang a d\u00e9missionn\u00e9 en tant que PDG en novembre 2009 le m\u00eame jour que le r\u00e8glement
