Apple Insider cite une note aux investisseurs envoy\u00e9e par l&rsquo;analyste de TF Securities Ming-Chi Kuo. Selon l&rsquo;analyste, Apple utilisera des puces ARM sur une large s\u00e9lection d&rsquo;ordinateurs de bureau et d&rsquo;ordinateurs portables Mac d&rsquo;ici un an.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Apple a con\u00e7u des processeurs bas\u00e9s sur l&rsquo;architecture ARM depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, mais jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent uniquement pour une utilisation dans ses t\u00e9l\u00e9phones mobiles et ordinateurs tablettes. Le dernier domaine qui lui a r\u00e9sist\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 les PC clients sous les syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;exploitation Windows et iOS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Comme Apple contr\u00f4le la conception et la fabrication de ses puces bas\u00e9es sur ARM, cela lui \u00e9viterait d&rsquo;\u00eatre au gr\u00e9 du fournisseur Intel. Cette d\u00e9cision sugg\u00e8re \u00e9galement que Intel a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pass\u00e9 dans les technologies de fabrication &#8211; il est bloqu\u00e9 \u00e0 14 nm ou 10 nm tandis que la fonderie TSMC passe de 7 nm \u00e0 5 nm &#8211; et signifie enfin que si Apple veut fabriquer les meilleurs ordinateurs possible, il a besoin que de processeurs fabriqu\u00e9s par TSMC, ou \u00e9ventuellement Samsung, mais pas Intel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Dans les PC Windows \u00e0 architecture x86 Intel restent le fournisseur dominant, mais m\u00eame l\u00e0, il commence \u00e0 devoir batailler contre son principal concurrent Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) dirig\u00e9 par la PDG Lisa Su. AMD est pass\u00e9 Fabless il y a de nombreuses ann\u00e9es avec Globalfoundries, mais a r\u00e9cemment opt\u00e9 pour TSMC pour lui permettre d&rsquo;acc\u00e9der \u00e0 des processus de fabrication de semiconducteurs de pointe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Le passage aux processeurs ARM permettra \u00e0 Apple d&rsquo;\u00e9conomiser environ 40 \u00e0 60% en termes de co\u00fbts, selon Kuo de Apple Insider.
