Dans les SNN, les donn\u00e9es sont d\u00e9plac\u00e9es sous la forme d&rsquo;une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;impulsions \u00e9lectriques dans le temps, mais uniquement lorsque l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e sensorielle change. La puce d&rsquo;IMEC consomme 1% de la puissance des NN artificiels traditionnels tout en r\u00e9duisant de dix fois la latence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Le radar pour les applications militaires et avioniques a \u00e9galement eu une exigence traditionnelle pour le traitement du signal num\u00e9rique \u00e0 haute vitesse et haute performance et est de plus en plus envisag\u00e9 pour le trafic routier et la conduite autonome.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">La puce d&rsquo;IMEC compte 336 neurones. Une partie de cette structure neuronale est enti\u00e8rement connect\u00e9e vers l&rsquo;aval, une partie a des connexions r\u00e9currentes de r\u00e9troaction et de transmission en aval reconfigurables. Le circuit fonctionne \u00e0 une tension nominale de 1,1 V et a \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9 en 40nm CMOS par TSMC. Il peut classifier les signatures radar micro-Doppler en utilisant seulement 30 microwatts de puissance alors que l&rsquo;architecture et les algorithmes puissent \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9s \u00e0 une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de donn\u00e9es de capteur unidimensionnelles et bidimensionnelles, y compris l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrocardiogramme, la parole, le sonar et les flux radar et lidar. Le premier cas d&rsquo;utilisation du r\u00e9seau de neurones de pointe d&rsquo;IMEC est un syst\u00e8me radar anti-collision pour drones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Bien que les r\u00e9seaux de neurones artificiels soient utilis\u00e9s dans l&rsquo;industrie automobile, l&rsquo;IMEC souligne que dans les environnements o\u00f9 la puissance disponible est limit\u00e9e tels que les drones aliment\u00e9s par batterie, la consommation \u00e9lectrique est trop importante. De plus, le temps n\u00e9cessaire pour transmettre les donn\u00e9es des capteurs et les traiter dans l&rsquo;algorithme d&rsquo;inf\u00e9rence AI est trop long.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00e0 suivre: Une premi\u00e8re mondiale<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00ab\u00a0Aujourd&rsquo;hui, nous pr\u00e9sentons la premi\u00e8re puce au monde capable de traiter les signaux radar \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un r\u00e9seau neuronal \u00e0 impulsions r\u00e9currentes\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Ilja Ocket, responsable du programme de d\u00e9tection neuromorphique \u00e0 l&rsquo;IMEC, dans un communiqu\u00e9.
