La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 annonce des gains de performances de 20%, 25% et 25% par rapport aux c\u0153urs pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents. Dans les deux premiers cas, ces am\u00e9liorations incluent des am\u00e9liorations dues au processus de fabrication, tandis que dans le dernier cas, il s&rsquo;agit simplement d&rsquo;une am\u00e9lioration de g\u00e9om\u00e9trie par rapport \u00e0 l&rsquo;Ethos-N77.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Ainsi, dans le cas du Cortex-A78 c&rsquo;est un A78 fonctionnant \u00e0 3 GHz sur un processus FinFET \u00e0 5 nm par rapport \u00e0 un A77 \u00e0 2,6 GHz sur FinFET \u00e0 7 nm. Cela sugg\u00e8re que plus de la moiti\u00e9 de l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration provient du processus de fabrication. ARM dit que le Cortex-A78 offre 50% d&rsquo;\u00e9conomies d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie par rapport aux composants de 2019 pour les m\u00eames performances que le Cortex-A77.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Une quatri\u00e8me annonce est le programme personnalis\u00e9 Cortex-X qui permet un niveau suppl\u00e9mentaire de performances mais n&rsquo;est disponible que pour les clients qui participent au programme Core-X. Le premier r\u00e9sultat de ce programme est le Cortex-X1 qui offre une augmentation de 8,3% des performances de pointe par rapport au Cortex-A78, selon ARM.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Le Cortex-X1 devrait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans les smartphones haut de gamme ou ceux avec de grands \u00e9crans. Samsung semble \u00eatre l&rsquo;un des clients ayant rejoint le programme Cortex-X.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00ab\u00a0Samsung et ARM ont un partenariat technologique solide et nous sommes tr\u00e8s heureux de voir la nouvelle direction prise par ARM avec le programme Cortex-X Custom, permettant l&rsquo;innovation dans l&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me Android pour des exp\u00e9riences utilisateur de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.\u00a0\u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Joonseok Kim, vice-pr\u00e9sident de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de conception SoC chez Samsung Electronics, dans un communiqu\u00e9 publi\u00e9 par ARM.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00e0 suivre: les GPU<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Le GPU Mali-G78 est bas\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;architecture Valhall, tout comme le Mali-G77 d\u00e9voil\u00e9 l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. Le Mali-G78 eput compter jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 24 c\u0153urs tandis que le Mali-G77 \u00e9tait limit\u00e9 \u00e0 16 c\u0153urs. Le Mali-G78 est \u00e9galement 15% plus efficace pour des applications d&rsquo;apprentissage automatique. Pour ceux qui n&rsquo;ont pas besoin de performances graphiques premium, ARM a introduit le Mali-G68 avec les m\u00eames fonctionnalit\u00e9s que le Mali-G78 et comptant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 6 c\u0153urs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">ARM a \u00e9galement annonc\u00e9 un partenariat avec le d\u00e9veloppeur de jeux vid\u00e9o Crytek GmbH (Francfort, Allemagne) pour porter le logiciel Cryengine sur les t\u00e9l\u00e9phones mobiles Android.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Mais pour de nombreux smartphones, un support d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;apprentissage automatique est requis. Pour ces cas, ARM pr\u00e9sente l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 de traitement neuronal (NPU) Ethos-N78 avec des performances allant de 1 TOPS \u00e0 10 TOPS.
