Des entreprises telles que Faradion au Royaume-Uni travaillent sur des syst\u00e8mes commerciaux de batteries au sodium et de nombreux laboratoires du monde entier travaillent sur de nouveaux mat\u00e9riaux et processus pour la conception de batteries <\/span>\u00a0Na-Ion<span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">La recherche am\u00e9ricaine a \u00e9t\u00e9 dirig\u00e9e par Yuehe Lin, professeur \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00c9cole d&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie m\u00e9canique et des mat\u00e9riaux du WSU, et Xiaolin Li, chercheur principal au PNNL.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Ce travail ouvre la voie \u00e0 des batteries au sodium-ion utilisables, et les connaissances fondamentales que nous avons acquises sur l&rsquo;interaction cathode-\u00e9lectrolyte nous \u00e9clairent sur la fa\u00e7on dont nous pourrions d\u00e9velopper de futurs mat\u00e9riaux de cathode sans cobalt ou \u00e0 faible teneur en cobalt dans les batteries au sodium-ion ainsi d&rsquo;autres types de chimie des batteries \u00ab\u00a0, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Junhua Song, un dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 PhD du WSU qui est maintenant au Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. \u00ab\u00a0Si nous pouvons trouver des alternatives viables au lithium et au cobalt, la batterie au sodium-ion pourrait vraiment \u00eatre comp\u00e9titive avec les batteries au lithium-ion. Et cela changerait la donne.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00e0 suivre: le secret est dans la cathode<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">La batterie utilise une cathode multi-couches avec du sodium, du nickel, du mangan\u00e8se et du cobalt (<\/span>O<sub>3<\/sub>-NaNi<sub>0.68<\/sub>Mn<sub>0.22<\/sub>Co<sub>0.10<\/sub>O<sub>2<\/sub><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">) et un \u00e9lectrolyte liquide qui compte des ions sodium suppl\u00e9mentaires pour fournir une meilleure interaction avec la cathode.
