Ceux-ci peuvent \u00eatre \u00e9crits, lus et effac\u00e9s, \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature ambiante et \u00e0 des pressions d&rsquo;air normales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Les exp\u00e9riences de laboratoire ont utilis\u00e9 de petites impulsions \u00e9lectriques dans un microscope \u00e0 effet tunnel pour faire passer des mol\u00e9cules individuelles de l&rsquo;\u00e9tat clair au fonc\u00e9 (illustr\u00e9 ci-dessus). Ils ont \u00e9galement pu lire et effacer les informations par la suite.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Pendant la commutation, l&rsquo;impulsion \u00e9lectrique change la fa\u00e7on dont le cation et l&rsquo;anion dans le sel organique sont empil\u00e9s, et cet empilement fait appara\u00eetre la mol\u00e9cule soit claire soit sombre. Outre la commutation elle-m\u00eame, l&rsquo;ordonancement spontan\u00e9 des mol\u00e9cules est cruciale: gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&rsquo;auto-assemblage, elles se retrouvent dans une structure hautement ordonn\u00e9e (un cristal \u00e0 deux dimensions), sans avoir besoin d&rsquo;outils de fabrication co\u00fbteux.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00e0 suivre: quelles mol\u00e9cules utiliser?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00ab\u00a0Il y a toute une liste de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s qu&rsquo;une mol\u00e9cule doit poss\u00e9der pour \u00eatre utile en tant que m\u00e9moire mol\u00e9culaire. En plus d&rsquo;\u00eatre commutable dans les deux sens dans les conditions ambiantes, elle doit \u00eatre stable pendant longtemps dans l&rsquo;\u00e9tat lumineux et sombre, et \u00e9galement former spontan\u00e9ment des couches hautement ordonn\u00e9es qui n&rsquo;ont qu&rsquo;une seule mol\u00e9cule d&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur, dans un processus appel\u00e9 auto-assemblage. La n\u00f4tre est le premier exemple qui combine toutes ces caract\u00e9ristiques dans la m\u00eame mol\u00e9cule \u00ab\u00a0, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le Dr Stijn Mertens, ma\u00eetre de conf\u00e9rences en \u00e9lectrochimie des sciences de la surface \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Lancaster et chercheur principal pour cette \u00e9tude.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe comprend Kang Cui de la KU Leuven et de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Jinan; Kunal Mali et Steven De Feyter de la KU Leuven; Dongqing Wu, Xinliang Feng et Klaus M\u00fcllen du Max Planck Institute for Polymer research et Michael Walter du Freiburg Center for Interactive Materials and Bioinspired Technologies et Fraunhofer IWM<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00ab\u00a0Parce que la chimie nous permet de fabriquer des mol\u00e9cules avec des fonctions sophistiqu\u00e9es en nombre \u00e9norme et avec une
