Cela leur permet de travailler avec les tensions tr\u00e8s basses utilis\u00e9es par de nombreux circuits p\u00e9riph\u00e9riques, notamment ceux en technologie LVCMOS (Low Voltage CMOS, ou CMOS basse-tension) 2,5&nbsp;V, et aussi de s&rsquo;accommoder de tensions jusqu\u2019\u00e0 5,5&nbsp;V. Cette approche \u00e9vite le recours \u00e0 un rail d&rsquo;alimentation s\u00e9par\u00e9 pour alimenter les photo-coupleurs, ce qui r\u00e9duit le nombre de composants et permet de gagner de la place.<\/p>\n<p>Avec un faible seuil de courant d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e de 1,6&nbsp;mA (maximum), et un courant d&rsquo;alimentation bas de 0,5&nbsp;mA (maximum) sur toute leur plage de temp\u00e9rature allant de -40\u00b0C \u00e0 +125\u00b0C, ces photo-coupleurs sont pilotables directement par des micro-contr\u00f4leurs, ce qui r\u00e9duit la consommation. Les deux dispositifs offrent une tension d&rsquo;isolement de 3,75&nbsp;kVeff pour un isolement s\u00fbr.&nbsp;Ils sont&nbsp;encapsul\u00e9s&nbsp;en bo\u00eetier SO6 \u00e0 5 broches de 2,3&nbsp;mm d\u2019\u00e9paisseur maximale, offrant ainsi un profil bas pour les applications o\u00f9 la hauteur est limit\u00e9e, tout en apportant plus de libert\u00e9 pour l\u2019implantation des circuits
