Ce soutien marque une \u00e9tape d\u00e9cisive dans le d\u00e9veloppement de la 5G spatiale en France.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que les g\u00e9ants am\u00e9ricains et chinois dominent la course \u00e0 la connectivit\u00e9 par satellite, une startup fran\u00e7aise change la donne avec une vision audacieuse ancr\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;innovation et la souverainet\u00e9 industrielle. S\u00e9lectionn\u00e9e dans le cadre du programme spatial France 2030 \u00e0 l&rsquo;issue d&rsquo;un appel d&rsquo;offres, UNIVITY, en collaboration avec l&rsquo;op\u00e9rateur d&rsquo;infrastructures ouvertes TDF, r\u00e9alisera une d\u00e9monstration in\u00e9dite de connectivit\u00e9 5G par satellite. A travers des cas d&rsquo;usage r\u00e9els, cette exp\u00e9rience validera la pertinence d&rsquo;un NTN 5G totalement int\u00e9gr\u00e9, con\u00e7u et construit en France, combinant des satellites en orbite terrestre tr\u00e8s basse (VLEO) avec une infrastructure terrestre.<\/p>\n<p>TDF jouera un r\u00f4le central dans la mise en \u0153uvre op\u00e9rationnelle du projet, en g\u00e9rant l&rsquo;h\u00e9bergement, l&rsquo;installation, l&rsquo;exploitation et la maintenance de trois stations passerelles &#8211; deux en France m\u00e9tropolitaine et une en outre-mer. Ces passerelles seront essentielles pour assurer une interop\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 parfaite entre le syst\u00e8me satellitaire et les r\u00e9seaux terrestres des op\u00e9rateurs de t\u00e9l\u00e9communications.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Ind\u00e9pendance technologique fran\u00e7aise et europ\u00e9enne<\/h3>\n<p>Avec un financement de 31 millions d&rsquo;euros du CNES et un cofinancement industriel suppl\u00e9mentaire d&rsquo;UNIVITY, le contrat s&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 44 millions d&rsquo;euros. France 2030 soutient le d\u00e9veloppement de technologies critiques qui renforceront l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie fran\u00e7aise et favoriseront l&rsquo;ind\u00e9pendance technologique de l&rsquo;Europe. Le projet s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 vise \u00e0 valider cette technologie dans des conditions op\u00e9rationnelles r\u00e9elles.<\/p>\n<p>En tant que futur fournisseur mondial de services internet spatiaux, UNIVITY d\u00e9veloppe une constellation VLEO qui exploite le spectre 5G mmWave des op\u00e9rateurs pour fournir une connectivit\u00e9 \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit et \u00e0 faible latence, comme ils le font aujourd&rsquo;hui avec les r\u00e9seaux terrestres. Cette avanc\u00e9e ouvre de nouvelles possibilit\u00e9s pour connecter les r\u00e9gions rurales, \u00e9loign\u00e9es et mal desservies sans n\u00e9cessiter d&rsquo;investissements massifs dans les infrastructures.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Gr\u00e2ce au financement de France 2030, le CNES soutient UNIVITY dans la pr\u00e9paration, \u00e0 travers la d\u00e9monstration en orbite &lsquo;uniShape&rsquo;, d&rsquo;un service 5G-NTN par satellite con\u00e7u pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des op\u00e9rateurs terrestres. La constellation UNIVITY &lsquo;uniSky&rsquo; vise \u00e0 fournir une solution fran\u00e7aise distinctive pour la connectivit\u00e9 5G-NTN spatiale \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit, desservant \u00e0 la fois les utilisateurs grand public et professionnels, bas\u00e9e sur des concepts innovants et des technologies de rupture\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Caroline Laurent, directrice des syst\u00e8mes orbitaux et des applications au CNES.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Le soutien de France 2030 \u00e0 ce projet valide \u00e0 la fois notre expertise et notre vision de la convergence des r\u00e9seaux terrestres et spatiaux\u00a0\u00bb, a ajout\u00e9 V\u00e9ronique Bonnet, directrice du programme UNIVITY.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Ce projet est une \u00e9tape cl\u00e9 pour TDF et souligne notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 int\u00e9grer la dimension spatiale dans notre offre d&rsquo;infrastructures t\u00e9l\u00e9coms. En combinant notre expertise terrain, notre pr\u00e9sence locale et notre savoir-faire technologique, nous contribuons activement \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9mergence d&rsquo;un mod\u00e8le de connectivit\u00e9 hybride, r\u00e9silient et souverain port\u00e9 par les acteurs fran\u00e7ais \u00ab\u00a0, souligne Jean-Louis Mounier, Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Business Unit TowerCo de TDF.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>D\u00e9monstrateur VLEO 5G r\u00e9volutionnaire<\/h3>\n<p>Le projet cofinanc\u00e9 par France 2030, avec une contribution industrielle de 30 %, se d\u00e9roulera en deux phases jusqu&rsquo;en 2028 :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Phase 1 (juillet 2025 &#8211; avril 2026) : sp\u00e9cifications techniques et \u00e9tudes de cas d&rsquo;utilisation.<\/li>\n<li>Phase 2 (avril 2026 &#8211; f\u00e9vrier 2028) : assemblage, int\u00e9gration, essais, lancement et exploitation en orbite de deux satellites VLEO 5G communiquant avec des passerelles et des terminaux terrestres pour d\u00e9montrer des services \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit et \u00e0 faible latence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ce contrat de 44 millions d&rsquo;euros consolide la trajectoire ambitieuse dans laquelle UNIVITY s&rsquo;est engag\u00e9e. Moins de six mois apr\u00e8s avoir lev\u00e9 9,3 millions d&rsquo;euros, UNIVITY a lanc\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s sa premi\u00e8re charge utile r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice 5G mmWave pour les t\u00e9l\u00e9communications spatiales en juin 2025. Elle a \u00e9galement sign\u00e9 des accords strat\u00e9giques avec TDF et l&rsquo;ESA. Pour l&rsquo;avenir, les prochaines \u00e9tapes comprennent le lancement de deux satellites prototypes en 2027, suivi du d\u00e9ploiement progressif de la constellation entre 2028 et 2030.<\/p>\n<p><a
