La nouvelle version de 30 \u00b5m pr\u00e9sente une capacit\u00e9 plus faible de 0,15 \u00e0 0,4 pF, ce qui augmente la fr\u00e9quence de coupure \u00e0 3,5 GHz, contre 1,8 GHz pour la version de 80 \u00b5m et 0,7 GHz pour la version de 200 \u00b5m. Elle est donc id\u00e9ale pour les applications \u00e0 grande vitesse et \u00e0 temps critique, telles que celles des communications optiques \u00e0 vitesse gigabit, y compris les applications en espace libre, et les \u00e9quipements de test de r\u00e9flectom\u00e9trie optique dans le domaine temporel (OTDR).<\/p>\n<p>La haute sensibilit\u00e9 des capteurs APD Phlux \u00e9tend la port\u00e9e des syst\u00e8mes infrarouges jusqu\u2019\u00e0 50 % pour une puissance laser donn\u00e9e. Alternativement, ils peuvent permettre de r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement la puissance laser requise, r\u00e9duisant les co\u00fbts du syst\u00e8me jusqu\u2019\u00e0 40 % et la taille et le poids jusqu\u2019\u00e0 30 %. Lorsque la puissance du laser est r\u00e9duite, la gestion thermique est moins difficile et la fiabilit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me est am\u00e9lior\u00e9e. Les APD Aura fonctionneront jusqu\u2019\u00e0 +85 \u00b0C avec une d\u00e9gradation minimale des performances, ce qui est nettement sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui des capteurs traditionnels. Ils sont con\u00e7us pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la norme MIL-STD-883, qualifi\u00e9s Telcordia GR-468 et remplacent les composants existants \u00e0 montage en surface ou emball\u00e9s TO.
