Le processeur central serait connect\u00e9 par des liens optiques dans un substrat photonique \u00e0 des dispositifs num\u00e9riques tels que la m\u00e9moire, \u00e0 l&rsquo;instar d&rsquo;entreprises telles que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/ceo-interview-celestial-ais-terabit-optical-interconnect\/\">Celestial AI<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/generative-ai-drives-154m-for-lightmatters-photonic-interconnect-chips-and-servers\/\">Lightmatter<\/a>. Cela permettra aux d\u00e9veloppeurs de d\u00e9ployer et de mettre \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle des mod\u00e8les d&rsquo;IA sans modifier leur base de code existante.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Pour construire un produit non seulement performant mais aussi r\u00e9ellement utilisable, il est essentiel de bien comprendre les contraintes li\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration d&rsquo;un composant bas\u00e9 sur un principe de calcul diff\u00e9rent dans l&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me au sens large\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Nicolas Muller, PDG et cofondateur d&rsquo;Arago. Nous n&rsquo;avons pas le luxe d&rsquo;attendre que l&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me s&rsquo;adapte &#8211; notre technologie doit \u00eatre compatible avec tous les \u00e9l\u00e9ments, des processus de fabrication \u00e0 la pile logicielle d&rsquo;IA, d\u00e8s le premier jour\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Selon lui, cette conception permet \u00e9galement de contourner les obstacles techniques qui ont historiquement limit\u00e9 les performances des processeurs photoniques gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la miniaturisation et \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration dans le syst\u00e8me \u00e9lectronique.<\/p>\n<p>Arago cr\u00e9e un \u00ab\u00a0moment DeepSeek\u00a0\u00bb pour les puces d&rsquo;IA\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Hendrik Brandis, cofondateur d&rsquo;Earlybird. \u00ab\u00a0Cette technologie a le potentiel de d\u00e9fier les lois du calcul de l&rsquo;IA en n&rsquo;utilisant qu&rsquo;une fraction des ressources.<\/p>\n<p>M. Muller a fond\u00e9 la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 il y a un an avec Eliott Sarrey et Ambroise M\u00fcller &#8211; dont l&rsquo;expertise combin\u00e9e couvre la photonique, l&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique, les logiciels, les math\u00e9matiques et l&rsquo;apprentissage automatique &#8211; et compte aujourd&rsquo;hui une \u00e9quipe de 20 personnes. Le financement servira \u00e0 agrandir l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe \u00e0 Paris et aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/p>\n<p>Le tour de table de 26 millions de dollars a \u00e9t\u00e9 co-dirig\u00e9 par Earlybird, Protagonist et Visionaries Tomorrow, avec la participation de Generative IQ et C4 Ventures, entre autres.
