Passif, AGILE fonctionne\u00a0 en superposant des mat\u00e9riaux transparents dont l&rsquo;indice de r\u00e9fraction change progressivement pour diriger la lumi\u00e8re vers le bas \u00e0 travers une structure pyramidale invers\u00e9e compacte et aplatie.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Panneaux solaire et capteurs optiques<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Les prototypes ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 une efficacit\u00e9 de capture de la lumi\u00e8re de plus de 90 % et une concentration de l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 lumineuse multipli\u00e9e par trois, m\u00eame dans des conditions de lumi\u00e8re diffuse ou changeante. Le syst\u00e8me est con\u00e7u pour am\u00e9liorer la production d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie solaire en rempla\u00e7ant les m\u00e9canismes couteux et encombrant de suivi du soleil, tout en r\u00e9duisant la complexit\u00e9 et la taille du syst\u00e8me. Au-del\u00e0 de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie photovolta\u00efque, Agile pourrait \u00eatre \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 dans des capteurs optiques, des syst\u00e8mes laser et des instruments scientifiques n\u00e9cessitant un apport de lumi\u00e8re pr\u00e9cis et stable.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Pas de r\u00e9glages, pas de m\u00e9canisme<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>AGILE est une pyramide invers\u00e9e avec une large ouverture sup\u00e9rieure qui capte la lumi\u00e8re et la canalise vers une sortie inf\u00e9rieure \u00e9troite. Les parois lat\u00e9rales r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissantes emp\u00eachent la perte de lumi\u00e8re. Contrairement aux syst\u00e8mes optiques traditionnels, il ne n\u00e9cessite aucun r\u00e9glage m\u00e9canique. Fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de polym\u00e8res et de verre disponibles dans le commerce, AGILE peut \u00eatre produit en masse par moulage ou impression 3D. Int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans des panneaux solaires, il pourrait am\u00e9liorer la concentration de la lumi\u00e8re m\u00eame en cas de couverture nuageuse ou de faible angle d&rsquo;ensoleillement, augmentant la production globale d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n<p>l&rsquo;indice de r\u00e9fraction des mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s est progressivement modifi\u00e9, ce qui permet de guider la lumi\u00e8re de mani\u00e8re transparente. La structure d&rsquo;AGILE concentre efficacement la lumi\u00e8re entrante sans d\u00e9pendre de la lumi\u00e8re directe du soleil. Ce dispositif pourrait changer la donne en mati\u00e8re de conception de panneaux solaires, en r\u00e9duisant le co\u00fbt, la taille et la maintenance. Les chercheurs travaillent actuellement \u00e0 l&rsquo;optimisation des mat\u00e9riaux et \u00e0 l&rsquo;exploration de m\u00e9thodes de fabrication \u00e9volutives en vue d&rsquo;un d\u00e9ploiement
