Une solution francaise d&rsquo;Edge Computing dans l&rsquo;espace"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Un consortium 100 % fran\u00e7ais pilot\u00e9 par STEEL Electronique regroupant ELSYS Design, IP-Maker, Tarides, et Thales Alenia Space, avec la participation de l\u2019IRT Saint Exup\u00e9ry, ont lanc\u00e9 le projet CEOS2030, pour le d\u00e9veloppement de solutions d\u2019intelligence artificielle embarqu\u00e9e pour les satellites d\u2019observation de la Terre.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>Une r\u00e9ponse innovante aux d\u00e9fis de l\u2019observation de la Terre<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Les satellites jouent un r\u00f4le pt\u00e9pond\u00e9rant dans l&rsquo;observation de la terre.\u00a0 Pourtant, leur fonctionnement reste aujourd\u2019hui contraint par une architecture fig\u00e9e, du fait de l\u2019absence de traitements performants \u00e0 bord qui impose de rapatrier au sol l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es avant toute analyse. Le projet CEOS2030 propose une rupture avec ce mod\u00e8le, en int\u00e9grant des capacit\u00e9s de traitement embarqu\u00e9es \u00e0 bord des satellites. Les donn\u00e9es trait\u00e9es et valoris\u00e9e au plus pr\u00e8s de leur source, permettrons le transfert de moins de donn\u00e9es inutiles, une meilleure r\u00e9activit\u00e9 face aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements, et une optimisation des ressources spatiales.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>Une solution modulaire, frugale et \u00e9volutive<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>CEOS2030 repose sur une architecture ouverte et \u00e9volutive qui permet de d\u00e9ployer dynamiquement de nouvelles applications au cours de la vie du satellite. Bas\u00e9e sur une combinaison de technologies avanc\u00e9es \u2013 protocoles NVMe pour le stockage, FPGA de derni\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, IA embarqu\u00e9e frugale, et unikernels \u2013 cette solution permettra de r\u00e9duire l\u2019empreinte \u00e9cologique du traitement des donn\u00e9es spatiales, tout en am\u00e9liorant le rendement op\u00e9rationnel des missions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>D\u00e9monstration technologique<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Le projet inclut une d\u00e9monstration repr\u00e9sentative de sc\u00e9narii op\u00e9rationnels. Celle-ci pr\u00e9voit un simulateur d\u2019instruments g\u00e9n\u00e9rant divers flux d\u2019images (visible, hyperspectral), plusieurs algorithmes IA (d\u00e9tection de nuages, identification, d\u00e9tection de changement) et des m\u00e9canismes de compression.
