{"id":481857,"date":"2025-06-19T14:47:23","date_gmt":"2025-06-19T12:47:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/?p=481857"},"modified":"2025-06-19T14:47:23","modified_gmt":"2025-06-19T12:47:23","slug":"x-fab-etend-le-process-180-nm-avec-une-classe-disolation-spad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/x-fab-etend-le-process-180-nm-avec-une-classe-disolation-spad\/","title":{"rendered":"X-FAB \u00e9tend le process 180 nm avec une classe d&rsquo;isolation SPAD"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>X-FAB Silicon Foundries SE a lanc\u00e9 une nouvelle classe d&rsquo;isolation dans le cadre de son processus de semi-conducteur XH018 \u00e0 180 nm, qui permet de mettre en \u0153uvre des diodes \u00e0 avalanche \u00e0 photon unique (SPAD) plus compactes et plus efficaces.<\/h2>\n<p>La nouvelle classe d&rsquo;isolation permet une int\u00e9gration fonctionnelle plus \u00e9troite, une densit\u00e9 de pixels am\u00e9lior\u00e9e et un facteur de remplissage plus \u00e9lev\u00e9, ce qui se traduit par une surface de puce plus petite. Les SPAD sont des composants essentiels dans une large gamme d&rsquo;applications \u00e9mergentes, notamment le LiDAR pour les v\u00e9hicules autonomes, l&rsquo;imagerie 3D, la d\u00e9tection de la profondeur dans les syst\u00e8mes AR\/VR, la communication quantique et la d\u00e9tection biom\u00e9dicale. X-FAB propose d\u00e9j\u00e0 plusieurs dispositifs SPAD construits sur sa plateforme XH018 en 180 nm, avec des zones actives allant de 10 \u00b5m \u00e0 20 \u00b5m. Ces dispositifs comprennent une diode optimis\u00e9e pour les infrarouges afin d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer les performances de la probabilit\u00e9 de d\u00e9tection des photons (PDP).<\/p>\n<p>Pour permettre des r\u00e9seaux de SPAD \u00e0 haute r\u00e9solution, un pas compact et un facteur de remplissage \u00e9lev\u00e9 sont essentiels. Le nouveau module ISOMOS1, un module de classe d&rsquo;isolation de 25 V, permet des structures d&rsquo;isolation des transistors beaucoup plus compactes, \u00e9liminant le besoin d&rsquo;une couche de masque suppl\u00e9mentaire et s&rsquo;alignant parfaitement avec les autres variantes de SPAD de X-FAB.<\/p>\n<p>Les avantages de cette am\u00e9lioration sont \u00e9vidents lorsque l&rsquo;on compare les dispositions des pixels SPAD. Dans un r\u00e9seau SPAD 4&#215;3 typique avec des zones optiques de 10 par 10 \u00b5m, l&rsquo;adoption de la nouvelle classe d&rsquo;isolation permet une r\u00e9duction d&rsquo;environ 25 % de la surface totale. En outre, elle augmente le facteur de remplissage d&rsquo;environ 30 % par rapport \u00e0 la classe d&rsquo;isolation pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment disponible. En optimisant soigneusement la conception des pixels, il est possible d&rsquo;obtenir des am\u00e9liorations encore plus importantes en termes d&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de la surface et de sensibilit\u00e9 de d\u00e9tection.<\/p>\n<p>Les SPAD X-FAB sont largement utilis\u00e9s dans les applications qui n\u00e9cessitent un temps de vol direct (TOF), comme les smartphones, les drones et les projecteurs. Cette nouvelle avanc\u00e9e technologique profite directement \u00e0 ces applications dans lesquelles la d\u00e9tection \u00e0 haute r\u00e9solution avec une empreinte compacte est essentielle. Elle permet une d\u00e9tection pr\u00e9cise de la profondeur dans de nombreux sc\u00e9narios, y compris la d\u00e9tection industrielle de la distance et la d\u00e9tection robotique, par exemple en prot\u00e9geant la zone autour d&rsquo;un robot et en \u00e9vitant les collisions lorsque les robots travaillent en cobots. Au-del\u00e0 de l&rsquo;augmentation des performances et de la densit\u00e9 d&rsquo;int\u00e9gration, la nouvelle classe d&rsquo;isolation ouvre des possibilit\u00e9s pour une plus large gamme de syst\u00e8mes bas\u00e9s sur SPAD n\u00e9cessitant une d\u00e9tection \u00e0 photon unique \u00e0 faible bruit et \u00e0 grande vitesse dans un encombrement compact.<\/p>\n<p>Heming Wei, responsable du marketing technique pour l&rsquo;opto\u00e9lectronique chez X-FAB, explique : \u00a0\u00bb L&rsquo;introduction d&rsquo;une nouvelle classe d&rsquo;isolation dans le XH018 marque une \u00e9tape importante dans l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration des SPAD. Elle permet des agencements plus serr\u00e9s et de meilleures performances, tout en permettant de d\u00e9velopper des syst\u00e8mes de d\u00e9tection plus avanc\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de notre plate-forme \u00e9prouv\u00e9e et fiable de 180 nm.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Des mod\u00e8les et des PDK, y compris le nouveau module ISOMOS1, sont d\u00e9sormais disponibles, ce qui permet
