CICLOP sera implant\u00e9, dans l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 du CEA-Iramis, au Centre de recherche sur les ions, les mat\u00e9riaux et la photonique (CIMAP) \u00e0 Caen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Les travaux men\u00e9s dans le cadre de CICLOP porteront sur l\u2019am\u00e9lioration et le d\u00e9veloppement de nouvelles sources de faisceaux d&rsquo;ions focalis\u00e9s (FIB : Focused Ion Beam). Cet outil incontournable dans le domaine des semi-conducteurs, des mat\u00e9riaux, des sciences de la terre et de la vie, permet d\u2019\u00e9laborer, modifier, analyser, comprendre et valider de nouveaux concepts \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du nanom\u00e8tre. Ce type de source \u00e9met des ions et les focalise sur un \u00e9chantillon \u00e9tudi\u00e9. Sous l&rsquo;impact des ions, un d\u00e9p\u00f4t de mati\u00e8re ou de la gravure peuvent \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9. C&rsquo;est aussi l&rsquo;outil id\u00e9al pour l&rsquo;implantation ionique&nbsp;permettant un dopage localis\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riau, ou encore pour r\u00e9aliser des modifications structurales contr\u00f4l\u00e9es. Avoir une source d&rsquo;ions de tr\u00e8s grande qualit\u00e9 est aussi indispensable pour toutes les techniques d&rsquo;imagerie par \u00e9missions secondaires.<\/p>\n<p>La collaboration autour du laboratoire CICLOP (pour CIMAP Common Laboratory with Orsay-Physics)&nbsp; travaillera de fa\u00e7on cibl\u00e9e pour augmenter les brillances de sources d\u2019ions, l\u2019optimisation des optiques de transport et de focalisation des ions, ainsi que sur la conception de nouveaux d\u00e9tecteurs pour obtenir des images avec une meilleure sensibilit\u00e9. Les innovations r\u00e9sultant de ces travaux communs doivent r\u00e9pondre aux besoins concrets des industriels et laboratoires. Pour cela, les partenaires du laboratoire CICLOP d\u00e9velopperont des solutions technologiques originales et innovantes, issues des expertises respectives et compl\u00e9mentaires de chacun. Outre le march\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes utilisant les faisceaux d\u2019ions focalis\u00e9s (FIB), connu au niveau international par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Orsay Physics, CICLOP permettra d\u2019int\u00e9resser de nouveaux march\u00e9s, tels que ceux li\u00e9s \u00e0 la quantronique et l\u2019\u00e9lectronique du futur..<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cea.fr\/\">CEA<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a
