Leur production ininterrompue d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie en courant alternatif permettait une synchronisation relativement facile, n\u00e9cessaire pour connecter les r\u00e9seaux de distribution d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Avec l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie \u00e9olienne et solaire, la synchronisation n\u00e9cessite une autre approche. Des chercheurs de l&rsquo;ETHZ ont mis au point un nouveau syst\u00e8me de contr\u00f4le bas\u00e9 sur des algorithmes qui stabilisent la fr\u00e9quence du r\u00e9seau m\u00eame en cas de dysfonctionnement de celui-ci.<\/p>\n<p>Ils appellent cette solution \u00ab\u00a0convertisseurs de formation de r\u00e9seau\u00a0\u00bb : au lieu de suivre la fr\u00e9quence, ils la fixent. Le contr\u00f4leur du convertisseur mesure en permanence les param\u00e8tres du r\u00e9seau et ajuste le convertisseur en temps r\u00e9el via une boucle de r\u00e9troaction. De cette mani\u00e8re, le convertisseur n&rsquo;est pas endommag\u00e9 par de fortes chutes de tension. Le nouvel algorithme de contr\u00f4le se concentre sur la fr\u00e9quence et tente de la maintenir stable dans le r\u00e9seau en toutes circonstances. D\u00f6rfler, qui pr\u00e9pare actuellement un doctorat \u00e0 l&rsquo;ETH : Maitraya Desai a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 qu&rsquo;en cas de dysfonctionnement du r\u00e9seau, il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de traiter s\u00e9par\u00e9ment la tension du r\u00e9seau et la fr\u00e9quence du courant alternatif. Comme il est difficile de maintenir la tension en cas de dysfonctionnement du r\u00e9seau, le nouvel algorithme de contr\u00f4le se concentre sur la fr\u00e9quence et tente de la maintenir stable dans le r\u00e9seau en toutes circonstances.
