Ces composants sont munis d&rsquo;un oscillateur interne pour le processus de conversion CAN, ainsi que d&rsquo;un contr\u00f4le de redondance cyclique int\u00e9gr\u00e9 pour la configuration \u00e0 la mise sous tension et les op\u00e9rations de lecture\/\u00e9criture des donn\u00e9es. Les deux CAN disposent de sorties num\u00e9riques push-pull \u00e0 drain ouvert pour l&rsquo;extension des E\/S. De plus, la fonction de surveillance (watchdog) analogique de ces composants comprend un compteur d&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nements intervenant dans la gestion des transitoires et la programmation des seuils pour chaque canal. Les deux CAN b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient de larges plages de fonctionnement de 2,35 V \u00e0 5,5 V AVDD et 1,65 V \u00e0 5,5 V. DVDD.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;ADS7028 communique via une interface compatible SPI avec une fr\u00e9quence d&rsquo;\u00e9chantillonnage de 1 M\u00e9ch\/s (MSPS), tandis que l&rsquo;ADS7138 \u00e9change en utilisant une interface compatible I\u00b2C capable de fonctionner \u00e0 une fr\u00e9quence allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 3,4 MHz. Les deux CAN fonctionnent en mode de conversion autonome ou en mode single-shot.
