{"id":476159,"date":"2025-03-26T15:00:04","date_gmt":"2025-03-26T14:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/?p=476159"},"modified":"2025-03-26T15:00:04","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T14:00:04","slug":"x-fab-produit-des-chiplets-optiques-terabits-inp-sur-silicium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/x-fab-produit-des-chiplets-optiques-terabits-inp-sur-silicium\/","title":{"rendered":"X-Fab produit des chiplets optiques Terabits InP sur silicium"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>X-FAB Silicon Foundries collabore avec SMART Photonics et Epiphany Design pour utiliser l&rsquo;impression par micro-transfert afin de produire des chiplets d&rsquo;\u00e9metteurs-r\u00e9cepteurs optiques \u00e0 grande vitesse et \u00e0 faible consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n<p>Ces trois entreprises mettent au point une plate-forme de collaboration europ\u00e9enne qui combine des puces en phosphure d&rsquo;indium (InP) fabriqu\u00e9es par Smart Photonics avec des <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/x-fab-releases-embedded-flash-on-110-nm-automotive-bcd-on-soi\/\">puces SOI de X-Fab<\/a> par microtransfert-impression pour des d\u00e9bits de donn\u00e9es de plusieurs t\u00e9rabits pour les applications de t\u00e9l\u00e9communication et de transmission de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>La technologie MTP, mise au point par X-Celeprint, offre une grande libert\u00e9 aux concepteurs de syst\u00e8mes et de produits, en permettant une int\u00e9gration souple des chiplets dans la conception du produit.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/micro-transfer-printing-for-hybrid-photonics-integration\/\">Impression par micro-transfert<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cette collaboration a permis de d\u00e9velopper un flux de conception et un PDK qui permet de concevoir des circuits photoniques int\u00e9grant des puces InP sur une plateforme SOI. Cette collaboration s&rsquo;inscrit dans le cadre du projet europ\u00e9en PhotonixFAB, qui soutient le d\u00e9veloppement de lignes pilotes industrielles pour les puces photoniques en silicium SOI, les puces InP pr\u00eates \u00e0 \u00eatre imprim\u00e9es par micro-transfert et le MTP des puces InP sur les plaquettes photoniques SOI et SiN.<\/p>\n<p>Le flux de conception est mis en \u0153uvre dans l&rsquo;outil EDA IPKISS de Luceda. L&rsquo;expertise technique et le soutien de Luceda ont permis la conception du d\u00e9monstrateur.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre de ce d\u00e9veloppement, Epiphany Design, partenaire de X-fab, a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s le nouveau flux de conception h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8ne InP-on-SOI avec un d\u00e9monstrateur d&rsquo;\u00e9metteur-r\u00e9cepteur optique.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0En associant la densit\u00e9 d&rsquo;int\u00e9gration du silicium \u00e0 la haute performance des actifs InP, nous ouvrons de nouvelles possibilit\u00e9s d&rsquo;innovation dans les t\u00e9l\u00e9communications, les datacoms et au-del\u00e0. Cette approche offre aux concepteurs de PIC une plus grande flexibilit\u00e9 et une voie claire vers des solutions PIC \u00e9volutives et de haute performance\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 J\u00f6rn Epping, PDG d&rsquo;Epiphany Design.<\/p>\n<p>Le flux de conception complet sera disponible pour un acc\u00e8s anticip\u00e9 au cours du premier trimestre 2026.
