Le processeur photonique IA est con\u00e7u pour r\u00e9soudre le besoin croissant de calcul pour supporter les algorithmes d&rsquo;IA de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00abLe minist\u00e8re de l&rsquo;\u00c9nergie (US) estime que d&rsquo;ici 2030, les technologies de l&rsquo;informatique et des communications consommeront plus de 8% de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie mondiale\u00bb, d\u00e9clare Nicholas Harris, PhD, fondateur et PDG de Lightmatter. \u00ab\u00a0Les transistors, les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de base des processeurs traditionnels, ne s&rsquo;am\u00e9liorent pas; ils sont tout simplement trop chauds. Construire des centres de donn\u00e9es de plus en plus grands est une voie sans issue sur la route du progr\u00e8s informatique.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">\u00abNous avons besoin d&rsquo;un nouveau paradigme informatique\u00bb, d\u00e9clare Harris. \u00abLes processeurs optiques de Lightmatter sont consid\u00e9rablement plus rapides et plus \u00e9co\u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques que les processeurs traditionnels. Le processeur photonique ex\u00e9cute des frameworks d&rsquo;apprentissage automatique standard, notamment PyTorch et TensorFlow, permettant des algorithmes d&rsquo;IA de pointe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"fr\">Cette nouvelle architecture, selon la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, est une avanc\u00e9e massive dans le d\u00e9veloppement des processeurs photoniques. Les performances de ce processeur photonique sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es comme la preuve que l&rsquo;approche de l&rsquo;entreprise en mati\u00e8re de conception de processeurs offre des avantages \u00e9volutifs en termes de vitesse et d&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique par rapport au paradigme de calcul \u00e9lectronique actuel et constitue le point de d\u00e9part d&rsquo;une
