Les satellites \u00e0 large bande StarLink de SpaceX, par exemple, fonctionnent sur une orbite de 550 km.<\/p>\n<p>La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a lev\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/e9-3m-for-european-5g-space-broadband\/\">9,3 millions d&rsquo;euros pour d\u00e9velopper une constellation de satellites VLEO<\/a> afin de permettre aux op\u00e9rateurs de t\u00e9l\u00e9communications de fournir un acc\u00e8s Internet \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit et \u00e0 faible latence depuis l&rsquo;espace.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9e au sol dans des conditions environnementales spatiales simul\u00e9es, la premi\u00e8re charge utile op\u00e9rationnelle r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rative, appel\u00e9e Early Test, a \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9e \u00e0 la plateforme satellitaire ION du fournisseur italien D-orbit, ce qui lui permettra de fonctionner \u00e0 partir de l&rsquo;orbite.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/first-interoperability-of-laser-links-in-space\/\">Premi\u00e8re interop\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 des liaisons laser dans l&rsquo;espace<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/amazon-prepares-for-mass-production-of-its-kuiper-satellites\/\">Amazon pr\u00e9pare la production en s\u00e9rie de satellites Kuiper<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cette charge utile devrait \u00eatre lanc\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;espace en juin 2025, marquant la premi\u00e8re utilisation du spectre d&rsquo;ondes 5G mmWave au-dessus de 24 GHz pour la transmission de donn\u00e9es internet \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit et \u00e0 faible latence par satellite. Les ondes millim\u00e9triques 5G peuvent fournir une largeur de bande allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 10 Gbit\/s, mais la distance plus longue de l&rsquo;orbite r\u00e9duira la vitesse de la liaison.<\/p>\n<p>Une charge utile r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rative permet au satellite d&rsquo;ex\u00e9cuter certaines des fonctions d&rsquo;une station de base au lieu de simplement acheminer les signaux en mode transparent.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;entreprise pr\u00e9voit une constellation totale de 1 500 \u00e0 3 400 satellites, dont les deux premiers devraient \u00eatre lanc\u00e9s d\u00e8s l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e prochaine et les autres entre 2027 et 2030. Ces satellites devraient \u00eatre \u00ab\u00a0autonettoyants\u00a0\u00bb, car la tra\u00een\u00e9e de l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re r\u00e9siduelle signifie qu&rsquo;ils se consument au bout d&rsquo;un certain temps.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;essai pr\u00e9liminaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour int\u00e9grer et valider les technologies mat\u00e9rielles et logicielles essentielles du CTO pour la connectivit\u00e9 \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit. Apr\u00e8s son assemblage, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 soumis \u00e0 des essais rigoureux pour confirmer sa fonctionnalit\u00e9 au sol avant d&rsquo;\u00eatre int\u00e9gr\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s dans la plateforme satellitaire qui assurera son fonctionnement une fois d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 en orbite.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00bb Notre charge utile r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrice 5G mmWave est une premi\u00e8re mondiale qui confirme la capacit\u00e9 de CTO \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la convergence entre la connectivit\u00e9 terrestre et spatiale.
