{"id":467785,"date":"2024-12-12T07:37:02","date_gmt":"2024-12-12T06:37:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/?p=467785"},"modified":"2024-12-11T17:42:57","modified_gmt":"2024-12-11T16:42:57","slug":"quobly-et-st-developpent-un-procede-fdsoi-pour-le-quantique","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/quobly-et-st-developpent-un-procede-fdsoi-pour-le-quantique\/","title":{"rendered":"Quobly et ST d\u00e9veloppent un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 FDSOI pour le quantique"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>La start-up Quobly SA (Grenoble, France) a conclu un partenariat exclusif avec STMicroelectronics pour d\u00e9velopper un processus de fabrication destin\u00e9 \u00e0 soutenir l&rsquo;informatique quantique.<\/h2>\n<p>Les partenaires utiliseront le processus de fabrication en volume FDSOI 28 nm de ST comme point de d\u00e9part, les premiers produits commerciaux \u00e9tant disponibles en 2027, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Quobly. \u00ab\u00a0D&rsquo;ici la fin de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2025, nous pr\u00e9voyons de disposer de tous les \u00e9quipements quantiques sur le site de ST \u00e0 Crolles ; d&rsquo;ici 2026, nous devrions disposer d&rsquo;une puce de 100 qubits avec une logique cryog\u00e9nique int\u00e9gr\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Maud Vinet, PDG de Quobly, lors d&rsquo;une t\u00e9l\u00e9conf\u00e9rence avec <em>eeNews Europe\/ECInews.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pour financer son d\u00e9veloppement, Quobly, anciennement connu sous le nom de Siquance, s&rsquo;appr\u00eate \u00e0 cl\u00f4turer un tour de table de s\u00e9rie A au d\u00e9but de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2025, au cours duquel la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 esp\u00e8re lever 65 millions d&rsquo;euros.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;un processus de fabrication de semi-conducteurs \u00e9prouv\u00e9 commercialement comme point de d\u00e9part permettra d&rsquo;acc\u00e9der \u00e0 l&rsquo;ensemble de l&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me des semi-conducteurs, ce qui acc\u00e9l\u00e9rera le d\u00e9veloppement et r\u00e9duira les co\u00fbts, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Vinet.<\/p>\n<p>M. Vinet a soulign\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une course mondiale est d\u00e9sormais lanc\u00e9e pour d\u00e9velopper une informatique quantique efficace et \u00e9volutive. Tirer parti de l&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me \u00e9tabli des semi-conducteurs pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le d\u00e9veloppement est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 de la strat\u00e9gie de Quobly, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Vinet.<\/p>\n<p>Quobly vise \u00e0 franchir la barri\u00e8re du million de qubits d&rsquo;ici 2031, en ciblant des applications allant des produits pharmaceutiques \u00e0 la finance, en passant par la science des mat\u00e9riaux et la mod\u00e9lisation de syst\u00e8mes complexes, y compris les simulations climatiques et de dynamique des fluides.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;approche de Quobly en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;informatique quantique se caract\u00e9rise par l&rsquo;utilisation de qubits de spin en silicium et d&rsquo;une \u00e9lectronique de contr\u00f4le cryog\u00e9nique capable de fonctionner \u00e0 la basse temp\u00e9rature requise par les qubits. \u00ab\u00a0Les qubits de spin en semi-conducteur fonctionnent \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature de 500 mK \u00e0 1 K, une temp\u00e9rature plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e que les qubits supraconducteurs, qui n\u00e9cessitent des temp\u00e9ratures inf\u00e9rieures \u00e0 10 mK, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Vinet \u00e0 <em>eeNews Europe:ECInews<\/em> lors d&rsquo;une t\u00e9l\u00e9conf\u00e9rence, indiquant que l&rsquo;assouplissement des exigences en mati\u00e8re de temp\u00e9rature facilitait la mise en \u0153uvre.<\/p>\n<p>Dans un premier temps, Quobly et ST adapteront le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 FDSOI 28 nm de ST pour cibler une machine quantique de 100 qubits et d\u00e9montrer l&rsquo;\u00e9volutivit\u00e9 jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 plus de 100 000 qubits physiques. Cela comprendra la cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;un kit de conception physique (PDK) pour les fonctions cryog\u00e9niques.<\/p>\n<p>M. Vinet a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que, bien que la technologie du processus soit un d\u00e9veloppement exclusif pour Quobly, optimis\u00e9 pour les qubits de spin en silicium, il pourrait y avoir des possibilit\u00e9s pour des tiers de d\u00e9velopper de la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle pour cibler le processus. M.
