Depuis 2008, le CERN utilise les bo\u00eetiers HDD <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.promise.com\/Products\/VTrak\/J5000\/J5800s\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">JBOD VTrak J5800 \u00e0 24 baies<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Open Sans, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">de PROMISE Technology, certains des premiers syst\u00e8mes \u00e9tant encore op\u00e9rationnels aujourd&rsquo;hui. Le CERN a \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 les disques durs de capacit\u00e9 entreprise de Toshiba, en commen\u00e7ant par des capacit\u00e9s de 4 To il y a plus de dix ans jusqu&rsquo;aux <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><u><a href=\"https:\/\/toshiba.semicon-storage.com\/eu\/storage\/product\/data-center-enterprise\/cloud-scale-capacity\/articles\/mg09-series.html\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">disques durs de capacit\u00e9 entreprise de la s\u00e9rie MG09 de 18 To.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Pendant cette p\u00e9riode, les deux soci\u00e9t\u00e9s ont aid\u00e9 le CERN \u00e0 augmenter la capacit\u00e9 de stockage de son centre de donn\u00e9es central, qui envoie ces donn\u00e9es \u00e0 plus de 170 instituts de recherche \u00e0 travers le monde pour analyse. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, ce syst\u00e8me de stockage a atteint une capacit\u00e9 de plus d&rsquo;un exaoctet, soit mille p\u00e9taoctets ou un million de t\u00e9raoctets, r\u00e9alis\u00e9e avec plus de 120 000 disques durs install\u00e9s dans plus de 4 000 bo\u00eetiers JBOD.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Fort de ce succ\u00e8s, PROMISE Technology a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un nouveau mod\u00e8le JBOD \u00e0 60 baies, le <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.promise.com\/Products\/VTrak\/J5960\"><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">VTrak J5960<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/u><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Open Sans, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">.
