{"id":465936,"date":"2024-11-20T20:15:02","date_gmt":"2024-11-20T19:15:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/?p=465936"},"modified":"2024-11-20T20:15:02","modified_gmt":"2024-11-20T19:15:02","slug":"quantinuum-utilise-les-pieges-a-ions-dinfineon-pour-un-ordinateur-quantique-a-tolerance-de-pannes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/quantinuum-utilise-les-pieges-a-ions-dinfineon-pour-un-ordinateur-quantique-a-tolerance-de-pannes\/","title":{"rendered":"Quantinuum utilise les pi\u00e8ges \u00e0 ions d&rsquo;Infineon pour un ordinateur quantique \u00e0 tol\u00e9rance de pannes"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Infineon Technologies a sign\u00e9 un accord important avec l&rsquo;entreprise quantique Quantinuum, pour la technologie permettant de construire un ordinateur quantique tol\u00e9rant aux pannes.<\/h3>\n<p>Infineon apportera son expertise en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement de processus, de fabrication et de technologie d&rsquo;unit\u00e9 de traitement quantique (QPU) pour la future g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de pi\u00e8ges \u00e0 ions destin\u00e9s \u00e0 Quantinuum, un essaimage de l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 de mat\u00e9riel quantique d&rsquo;Honeywell.<\/p>\n<p>Infineon a investi dans ce domaine depuis 2017 \u00e0 Villach, en Autriche, avec des technologies de traitement \u00e0 haut volume et une photonique et une \u00e9lectronique de contr\u00f4le int\u00e9gr\u00e9es pour permettre \u00e0 des partenaires tels qu&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/infineon-teams-for-commercial-ion-trap-quantum-processors\/\">Oxford Ionics<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/infineon-teams-for-trapped-ion-quantum-processors-and-memories\/\">EleQtron<\/a> d&rsquo;augmenter le nombre de qubits de leurs machines.<\/p>\n<p>Dans l&rsquo;approche mat\u00e9rielle de Quantinuum, les atomes charg\u00e9s sont pi\u00e9g\u00e9s par des champs \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques afin qu&rsquo;ils puissent \u00eatre manipul\u00e9s et encod\u00e9s avec des informations \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de signaux micro-ondes et de lasers. Cette conception pr\u00e9sente des avantages ind\u00e9niables par rapport \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres mat\u00e9riels quantiques, notamment des fid\u00e9lit\u00e9s plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es et des temps de coh\u00e9rence plus longs.<\/p>\n<p>Les ing\u00e9nieurs des deux entreprises travaillent ensemble depuis plus d&rsquo;un an et intensifieront leurs efforts dans le cadre du partenariat actuel afin de d\u00e9velopper de puissants pi\u00e8ges \u00e0 ions pour la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d&rsquo;ordinateurs quantiques de Quantinuum pour un syst\u00e8me tol\u00e9rant aux pannes d&rsquo;ici 2029.<\/p>\n<p>Richard Kuncic, vice-pr\u00e9sident senior et directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des syst\u00e8mes de puissance chez Infineon Technologies a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0Nous sommes ravis de nous associer \u00e0 Quantinuum, un leader de l&rsquo;informatique quantique, pour en repousser les limites et g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des machines plus grandes et plus puissantes qui r\u00e9soudront des probl\u00e8mes concrets et significatifs. Cette collaboration r\u00e9unit les connaissances de pointe d&rsquo;Infineon en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement de processus, de fabrication et de technologie d&rsquo;unit\u00e9 de traitement quantique (QPU) avec l&rsquo;expertise de pointe de Quantinuum en mati\u00e8re de conception de pi\u00e8ges \u00e0 ions et son exp\u00e9rience dans l&rsquo;exploitation d&rsquo;ordinateurs quantiques commerciaux de haute performance\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Les ordinateurs quantiques \u00e0 ions pi\u00e9g\u00e9s de Quantinuum d\u00e9tiennent actuellement les records mondiaux en mati\u00e8re de performances cl\u00e9s, telles que la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 des portes \u00e0 2 qubits, le volume quantique et la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;entropie crois\u00e9e.
