{"id":463765,"date":"2024-10-24T18:29:04","date_gmt":"2024-10-24T16:29:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/?p=463765"},"modified":"2024-10-24T18:31:37","modified_gmt":"2024-10-24T16:31:37","slug":"premiers-ordinateurs-quantiques-a-spin-qubit-pour-leurope","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/premiers-ordinateurs-quantiques-a-spin-qubit-pour-leurope\/","title":{"rendered":"Premiers ordinateurs quantiques \u00e0 spin qubit pour l&rsquo;Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Deux ordinateurs quantiques utilisant des qubits de spin semi-conducteurs vont \u00eatre install\u00e9s pour la premi\u00e8re fois en Europe.<\/h3>\n<p>L&rsquo;entreprise commune EuroHPC a choisi SURF aux Pays-Bas pour h\u00e9berger le premier ordinateur quantique en Europe bas\u00e9 sur des qubits de spin, avec une deuxi\u00e8me machine \u00e0 qubits de spin \u00e0 LuxProvide au Luxembourg.<\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me n\u00e9erlandais de 20 millions d&rsquo;euros install\u00e9 au parc scientifique d&rsquo;Amsterdam sera int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au superordinateur national n\u00e9erlandais Snellius, en coordination avec QuantumDelta NL et SURF. Il sera bas\u00e9 sur des qubits de spin semi-conducteurs et, dans sa phase initiale, offrira un minimum de 16 qubits physiques.<\/p>\n<p>Un second syst\u00e8me appel\u00e9 MeluXina-Q sera h\u00e9berg\u00e9 par LuxProvide au Luxembourg et int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au supercalculateur MeluXina qui s&rsquo;y trouve. MeluXina-Q sera initialement \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;une unit\u00e9 de traitement quantique (QPU) de 10 qubits bas\u00e9e sur des qubits de spin dans une premi\u00e8re phase de 17 millions d&rsquo;euros, avec des mises \u00e0 niveau pour atteindre 80 qubits physiques r\u00e9partis entre diff\u00e9rentes QPU.<\/p>\n<p>La technologie des spin-qubits \u00e0 semi-conducteurs n&rsquo;est pas encore d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e dans d&rsquo;autres ordinateurs quantiques EuroHPC. Cette technologie viendra compl\u00e9ter les ordinateurs quantiques EuroHPC d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s en Pologne, en France, en Allemagne et en R\u00e9publique tch\u00e8que \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;autres technologies quantiques. imec a r\u00e9cemment lanc\u00e9 son processus de construction de qubits de spin CMOS sur des wafers de silicium de 300 mm afin d&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la technologie.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"Ed5vS8ahPK\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/imec-develops-300mm-process-for-quantum-qubits\/\">imec developing 300mm process for quantum qubits<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content lazyload\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;imec developing 300mm process for quantum qubits&#8221; &#8212; eeNews Europe\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/imec-develops-300mm-process-for-quantum-qubits\/embed\/#?secret=Eu163XtP7P#?secret=Ed5vS8ahPK\" data-secret=\"Ed5vS8ahPK\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" data-load-mode=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Je suis fier que SURF puisse apporter ce syst\u00e8me aux Pays-Bas. Cela permet non seulement \u00e0 nos chercheurs et \u00e0 nos \u00e9tudiants d&rsquo;acc\u00e9der \u00e0 cette technologie r\u00e9volutionnaire, mais aussi de renforcer la position des Pays-Bas dans le domaine du d\u00e9veloppement quantique\u00a0\u00bb. a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Ron Augustus, pr\u00e9sident du conseil d&rsquo;administration de SURF.<\/p>\n<p>Les Pays-Bas disposent d&rsquo;un solide p\u00f4le de technologie quantique centr\u00e9 sur le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/spin-qubits-go-trampolining\/\">laboratoire QuTech de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 technique de Delft<\/a>. Ce dernier a travaill\u00e9 en \u00e9troite collaboration avec <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/intel-shows-mass-production-of-qubits-on-300mm-wafers\/\">Intel sur les<\/a> dispositifs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/intel-shows-mass-production-of-qubits-on-300mm-wafers\/\">CMOS de spin qubit \u00e0 points quantiques<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Le consortium EuroSSQ-HPC exploitera conjointement le nouvel ordinateur quantique EuroHPC, en s&rsquo;occupant de l&rsquo;assistance aux utilisateurs et de toutes les activit\u00e9s d&rsquo;int\u00e9gration. Le consortium rassemble sept partenaires de trois pays : l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 d&rsquo;Anvers (BE), GENCI (France), le Netherlands eScience Centre (NL), l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 de Leiden (NL), l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 technologique de Delft (NL), l&rsquo;Institut national de physique subatomique (NL) et SURF (NL).<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;entreprise commune cofinancera jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 50 % du co\u00fbt total des ordinateurs quantiques, l&rsquo;investissement total de l&rsquo;Union europ\u00e9enne pouvant atteindre 10 millions d&rsquo;euros.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis le d\u00e9but de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e, l&rsquo;EC EuroHPC a annonc\u00e9 des contrats d&rsquo;approvisionnement pour :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ordinateur quantique EuroQCS en Pologne<\/li>\n<li>L&rsquo;ordinateur quantique du consortium LUMI-Q dans la R\u00e9publique tch\u00e8que<\/li>\n<li>Lucy en France<\/li>\n<li>Euro-Q-Exa en Allemagne.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La s\u00e9lection de ces six entit\u00e9s h\u00f4tes visait \u00e0 offrir la plus grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 possible de plateformes europ\u00e9ennes de calcul quantique et d&rsquo;architectures hybrides classique-quantique, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de deux simulateurs quantiques analogiques de Pasqal utilisant des atomes neutres, actuellement install\u00e9s en France et en Allemagne. QuTech travaille avec TU Delft et TNO, ainsi qu&rsquo;avec quatre startups locales : QuantWare, Delft Circuits, Orange Quantum Systems et Qblox. Delft Circuits est une spin-off de la Facult\u00e9 des sciences appliqu\u00e9es de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Delft, tandis que les trois autres entreprises -QuantWare, Orange et Qblox- sont des spin-offs de QuTech.<\/p>\n<p>QuantWare d\u00e9veloppe les puces quantiques utilisant des qubits transmon, Delft Circuits le c\u00e2blage cryog\u00e9nique, Qblox l&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique de contr\u00f4le et Orange Quantum Systems le logiciel d&rsquo;exploitation.
