{"id":462929,"date":"2024-10-15T09:06:07","date_gmt":"2024-10-15T07:06:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/?p=462929"},"modified":"2024-10-15T09:06:07","modified_gmt":"2024-10-15T07:06:07","slug":"le-francais-constellation-leve-93-me-pour-le-haut-debit-spatial-5g","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/le-francais-constellation-leve-93-me-pour-le-haut-debit-spatial-5g\/","title":{"rendered":"Le fran\u00e7ais Constellation l\u00e8ve 9,3 M\u20ac pour le haut d\u00e9bit spatial 5G"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>La startup fran\u00e7aise Constellation Technologies &amp; Operations a lev\u00e9 9,3 millions d&rsquo;euros pour financer deux satellites destin\u00e9s \u00e0 fournir un haut d\u00e9bit \u00e0 faible latence depuis l&rsquo;orbite sur des fr\u00e9quences 5G.<\/h3>\n<p>Ce financement permettra \u00e0 Constellation de r\u00e9aliser ses premiers essais de connectivit\u00e9 de bout en bout au sol et en orbite, et d&rsquo;achever les \u00e9tudes techniques d\u00e9taill\u00e9es des deux premiers satellites spatiaux \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit, dont le lancement est pr\u00e9vu pour la fin de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Le soutien provient d&rsquo;Expansion, fonds d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux Nouveaux Espaces et \u00e0 la Nouvelle Mobilit\u00e9 A\u00e9rienne, et du fonds French Tech Seed g\u00e9r\u00e9 par Bpifrance pour le compte de l&rsquo;Etat fran\u00e7ais, dans le cadre du plan France 2030, en plus de son investisseur historique.<\/p>\n<p>Le march\u00e9 croissant du haut d\u00e9bit en orbite basse est en grande partie occup\u00e9 par de nouveaux acteurs des t\u00e9l\u00e9communications, en particulier des projets am\u00e9ricains tels que Starlink de SpaceX et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/amazon-prepares-for-mass-production-of-its-kuiper-satellites\/\">Kuiper d&rsquo;Amazon<\/a>, ainsi que des ambitions chinoises et le projet OneWeb du Royaume-Uni et de la France. Ces acteurs d\u00e9veloppent ou exploitent d\u00e9j\u00e0 des constellations de satellites B2C, comptant plusieurs milliers de satellites.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/eutelsat-to-bid-for-oneweb\/\">Eutelsat rach\u00e8te OneWeb &#8211; mis \u00e0 jour<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/comtech-eutelsat-oneweb-trial-leo-services-to-antarctica\/\">Comtech et Eutelsat OneWeb testent des services LEO vers l&rsquo;Antarctique<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/oneweb-to-bring-satellite-manufacturing-back-to-uk\/\">OneWeb ram\u00e8ne la fabrication de satellites au Royaume-Uni<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Constellation Technologies &amp; Operations a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e en 2022 par Charles Delfieux pour relever ce d\u00e9fi en d\u00e9veloppant une constellation de satellites B2B2C destin\u00e9e aux op\u00e9rateurs de t\u00e9l\u00e9communications du monde entier. Elle pr\u00e9voit d&rsquo;utiliser l&rsquo;orbite terrestre tr\u00e8s basse pour une connectivit\u00e9 \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit avec un temps de latence minimal. Elle favorise \u00e9galement une utilisation plus durable de l&rsquo;espace en r\u00e9duisant les risques de d\u00e9bris spatiaux et de pollution lumineuse, mais n\u00e9cessitera un remplacement plus r\u00e9gulier des satellites.<\/p>\n<p>Elle vise \u00e9galement \u00e0 r\u00e9affecter le spectre terrestre 5G des op\u00e9rateurs de t\u00e9l\u00e9communications \u00e0 la connectivit\u00e9 spatiale. Cette approche offre aux op\u00e9rateurs un acc\u00e8s alternatif au spectre non satur\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>La start-up emploie une trentaine de personnes dans ses bureaux de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines et de Toulouse, en France.<\/p>\n<p>La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9voit d&rsquo;industrialiser et de produire en masse les satellites, les terminaux d&rsquo;utilisateurs et l&rsquo;ensemble du syst\u00e8me, avec un d\u00e9ploiement progressif de son service de connectivit\u00e9 \u00e0 large bande dans l&rsquo;espace.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous sommes ravis d&rsquo;avoir obtenu ce financement, qui nous permettra de poursuivre le d\u00e9veloppement de notre constellation et d&rsquo;aider les op\u00e9rateurs de t\u00e9l\u00e9communications \u00e0 exploiter l&rsquo;\u00e9norme potentiel de la connectivit\u00e9 spatiale.
