Combiner circuits photoniques et \u00e9lectroniques est une t\u00e2che complexe n\u00e9cessitant une conception et une fabrication multiphysiques pr\u00e9cises. Une simple erreur peut causer des probl\u00e8mes de continuit\u00e9 dans les puces, entra\u00eenant des retards de plusieurs mois et des surco\u00fbts consid\u00e9rables. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pour surmonter ces d\u00e9fis et lib\u00e9rer le potentiel de bande passante ultra large des circuits photoniques int\u00e9gr\u00e9s en silicium, TSMC a collabor\u00e9 avec Ansys afin d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les simulations FDTD de Lumerical gr\u00e2ce aux machines virtuelles Azure hautement performantes, utilisant les GPUs NVIDIA. Les machines virtuelles NC A100v4 ont ex\u00e9cut\u00e9 des simulations et identifi\u00e9 des ressources optimales qui \u00e9quilibrent co\u00fbts et performances. Le r\u00e9sultat est une mise en \u0153uvre sans faille, un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une interface graphique, la mise \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle des simulations distribu\u00e9es, et le post-traitement de grands ensembles de donn\u00e9es dans le cloud.
