Pourtant, pour un \u00e9v\u00e9nement aussi fr\u00e9quent, nous n&rsquo;avons toujours pas une vision claire de ce qui arrive r\u00e9ellement \u00e0 un satellite dans ses derniers instants avant sa destruction.<\/p>\n<div class=\"abstract article__block article__item\">\n<p>Une capsule sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7ue pour survivre \u00e0 la destruction transmettra un ensemble important donn\u00e9es t\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9triques peu apr\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"article__block\">\n<p>Deimos a sign\u00e9 un premier contrat d&rsquo;une valeur de 3 millions d&rsquo;euros pour le lancement du d\u00e9veloppement du satellite. La mission Draco est une mission de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 spatiale de petite taille et rapide, dont le lancement est pr\u00e9vu pour 2027.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"article__block\">\n<h2 class=\"heading\">Les rentr\u00e9es dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re \u00e9vitent les d\u00e9bris spatiaux<\/h2>\n<p>Pour garder propres les orbites utiles autour de la terre, et pour \u00e9viter\u00a0 de nouveaux d\u00e9bris spatiaux, il est important de d\u00e9placer rapidement un satellite de son orbite en fin de mission. L&rsquo;ESA s&rsquo;est engag\u00e9e dans une d\u00e9marche ambitieuse de \u00ab\u00a0Z\u00e9ro d\u00e9bris\u00a0\u00bb, qui vise \u00e0 mettre fin \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de d\u00e9bris spatiaux d&rsquo;ici \u00e0 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Les satellites peuvent \u00eatre construits pour des rentr\u00e9es contr\u00f4l\u00e9es ou, certains effectuent des rentr\u00e9es assist\u00e9es ou des rentr\u00e9es cibl\u00e9es. Cependant, il est plus efficace d\u00e8s la conception, de prendre en compte la r\u00e9duction des d\u00e9bris spatiaux en \u00e9tant \u00ab\u00a0con\u00e7u pour la destruction\u00a0\u00bb avec une d\u00e9sint\u00e9gration int\u00e9grale lors de la rentr\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0La connaissance des donn\u00e9es lors de la rentr\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel pour la conception en vue de la destruction. Nous devons mieux comprendre ce qui se passe lorsque les satellites br\u00fblent dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re et valider nos mod\u00e8les de rentr\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb, d\u00e9clare Holger Krag, responsable de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 spatiale \u00e0 l&rsquo;ESA.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0C&rsquo;est pourquoi les donn\u00e9es collect\u00e9es par Draco aideront \u00e0 orienter le d\u00e9veloppement de nouvelles technologies de construction de satellites plus durables d&rsquo;ici 2030\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Un autre \u00e9l\u00e9ment important des rentr\u00e9es est leur effet sur l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re elle-m\u00eame, un domaine de recherche qui gagne en importance \u00e0 mesure que le nombre de lancements et de rentr\u00e9es augmente rapidement. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude de l&rsquo;usure et de l&rsquo;arrachement des pi\u00e8ces et des particules des mat\u00e9riaux des engins spatiaux dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re sup\u00e9rieure peut fournir des indications sur les sous-produits qui sont cr\u00e9\u00e9s et \u00e0 quel endroit.
