Ces derniers sont une aide pr\u00e9cieuse qui facilite, la compr\u00e9hension approfondie des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes physiques en jeu et de leur couplage, la conception et la r\u00e9duction du nombre de prototypes ou encore le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019applications de simulation d\u00e9di\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Le logiciel COMSOL\u00a0Multiphysics\u00a0une plate-forme de simulation multiphysique, et son module \u00ab Battery Design \u00bb, permet de mettre en place des mod\u00e8les haute-fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 bas\u00e9s sur la physique pour diff\u00e9rents types de batteries, avec des chimies vari\u00e9es. Ces mod\u00e8les peuvent inclure, entre autres, le transport de mat\u00e9riaux, le transfert de chaleur, l&rsquo;\u00e9coulement de fluides, les r\u00e9actions \u00e9lectrochimiques etc. Le logiciel propose \u00e9galement des interfaces de mod\u00e9lisation pr\u00e9d\u00e9finies pour les types de batteries les plus courants, tels que les batteries lithium-ion, NiMH et plomb-acide. La mod\u00e9lisation multi-\u00e9chelles est \u00e9galement possible, de l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle microscopique gr\u00e2ce aux mod\u00e8les h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8nes \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle de la cellule en utilisant la th\u00e9orie des \u00e9lectrodes poreuses, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du pack, avec des centaines de cellules de batterie.
