Le QPU \u00e0 atomes neutres de 100 qubits de Pasqal sera int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au supercalculateur Joliot-Curie de GENCI, qui est h\u00e9berg\u00e9 et exploit\u00e9 par le CEA au TGCC dans un syst\u00e8me hybride.<\/p>\n<p>Cela fait suite \u00e0 l&rsquo;activation d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me hybride de supercalculateur quantique au Leibniz Supercomputing Centre en Allemagne avec l&rsquo;IQM.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/ceo-interview-building-a-quantum-computing-leader-in-europe\/\">Interview du PDG : Construire un leader de l&rsquo;informatique quantique en Europe <\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/pasqal-aims-for-10000-qbit-quantum-computer-in-2026\/\">Pasqal vise un ordinateur quantique de 10000 qbits en 2026<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/pasqal-puts-quantum-computer-on-azure\/\">Pasqal met l&rsquo;ordinateur quantique sur Azure<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Un autre QPU sera \u00e9galement install\u00e9 en Allemagne, au Forschungszentrum J\u00fclich (FZJ), et coupl\u00e9 au supercalculateur JURECA. Ces deux syst\u00e8mes formeront l&#8217;embryon d&rsquo;une infrastructure paneurop\u00e9enne hybride de calcul intensif et de calcul quantique, qui sera bient\u00f4t compl\u00e9t\u00e9e par d&rsquo;autres technologies europ\u00e9ennes de calcul quantique financ\u00e9es par l&rsquo;EuroHPC JU et les \u00c9tats membres. Il sera ouvert \u00e0 tous les utilisateurs europ\u00e9ens afin qu&rsquo;ils puissent commencer \u00e0 explorer concr\u00e8tement le potentiel de l&rsquo;informatique quantique pour leurs applications.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet fran\u00e7ais d&rsquo;ordinateur quantique hybride est cofinanc\u00e9 par l&rsquo;entreprise commune europ\u00e9enne HPC et par GENCI dans le cadre de l&rsquo;initiative fran\u00e7aise Hybrid HPC Quantum. L&rsquo;int\u00e9gration des ordinateurs quantiques analogiques aux superordinateurs permettra aux chercheurs europ\u00e9ens et fran\u00e7ais de travailler sur des cas d&rsquo;utilisation hybrides et d&rsquo;exp\u00e9rimenter sur du mat\u00e9riel r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;informatique quantique analogique, produit de cette int\u00e9gration HPC-QC, est particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9e pour promouvoir les charges de travail d&rsquo;optimisation et la simulation de syst\u00e8mes physiques. Cette optimisation a de nombreuses applications pratiques dans le secteur bancaire, la logistique, le transport, la gestion des r\u00e9seaux d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie et bien d&rsquo;autres.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Ce jalon de livraison marque une grande premi\u00e8re en France vers la mise en service d&rsquo;une machine quantique \u00e0 atomes froids bient\u00f4t hybrid\u00e9e avec notre supercalculateur, au service de la science, de la connaissance et de l&rsquo;innovation. Cette premi\u00e8re refl\u00e8te \u00e9galement un engagement fort de la France et de l&rsquo;Europe, \u00e0 travers EuroHPC et le projet HPCQS, pour faire des technologies quantiques un outil strat\u00e9gique et souverain\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Philippe Lavocat, PDG de GENCI,<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Cette livraison permettra aux communaut\u00e9s du calcul intensif et de l&rsquo;informatique quantique de compl\u00e9ter leurs travaux avec des \u00e9mulateurs par des calculs r\u00e9els sur du mat\u00e9riel r\u00e9el. Tous nos utilisateurs sont impatients d&rsquo;utiliser le syst\u00e8me Orion de Pasqal et de d\u00e9montrer tous les r\u00e9sultats qu&rsquo;ils obtiendront gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 lui\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jacques-Charles Lafoucriere, directeur de programme au CEA et coordinateur de l&rsquo;initiative fran\u00e7aise Hybrid HPC Quantum (HQI).<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0La livraison de notre premi\u00e8re QPU au CEA est un \u00e9v\u00e9nement marquant qui souligne notre engagement \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l&rsquo;int\u00e9gration de l&rsquo;informatique quantique dans les secteurs technologiques courants. En exploitant les synergies entre l&rsquo;informatique quantique et les environnements HPC classiques, nous ouvrons la voie \u00e0 des perc\u00e9es qui \u00e9taient auparavant hors de port\u00e9e.
