Les qubits de chat r\u00e9duisent de mani\u00e8re exponentielle les changements de bits, qui sont analogues aux changements de bits classiques dans l&rsquo;informatique num\u00e9rique. Par cons\u00e9quent, les inversions de phase restantes peuvent \u00eatre trait\u00e9es plus efficacement avec des codes correcteurs d&rsquo;erreurs plus simples.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Cette collaboration r\u00e9ussie a permis de tirer le meilleur parti de la conception de notre qubit de chat pour obtenir des temps de retournement de bits tr\u00e8s longs tout en pr\u00e9servant le contr\u00f4le quantique\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Rapha\u00ebl Lescanne, directeur technique d&rsquo;Alice &amp; Bob. \u00ab\u00a0Bien que l&rsquo;aventure se poursuive, nous restons d\u00e9termin\u00e9s \u00e0 relever efficacement les d\u00e9fis de la correction quantique des erreurs.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs ont utilis\u00e9 le chipset \u00ab\u00a0Boson 3\u00a0\u00bb d&rsquo;Alice &amp; Bob pour obtenir ce r\u00e9sultat record, qui comporte un qubit de type \u00ab\u00a0chat\u00a0\u00bb appel\u00e9 TomCat. TomCat utilise un protocole efficace de tomographie quantique (mesure) qui permet de contr\u00f4ler les \u00e9tats quantiques sans utiliser de transmon, un circuit commun utilis\u00e9 par de nombreuses entreprises quantiques, mais qui est l&rsquo;une des principales sources de changement de bit pour les qubits de chat. Cette conception minimise \u00e9galement l&#8217;empreinte du qubit sur la puce, en supprimant les conduites, les c\u00e2bles et les instruments, ce qui rend ce qubit stable et \u00e9volutif.<\/p>\n<p>Le chipset Boson 4 atteint plus de 7 minutes de dur\u00e9e de vie du bit-flip et les r\u00e9sultats peuvent \u00eatre reproduits par les utilisateurs sur Boson 4 via Google Cloud.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que les derni\u00e8res puces Boson d&rsquo;Alice &amp; Bob se rapprochent des objectifs de l&rsquo;entreprise en mati\u00e8re de protection contre l&rsquo;inversion des bits, Alice &amp; Bob pr\u00e9voit de continuer \u00e0 faire progresser sa technologie. Les prochaines it\u00e9rations se concentreront sur l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration du temps de basculement de phase du qubit de chat et de la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 de lecture afin de r\u00e9pondre aux exigences de leur derni\u00e8re architecture visant \u00e0 fournir un ordinateur quantique de 100 qubits logiques.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;elle pouvait contr\u00f4ler la phase des superpositions coh\u00e9rentes tout en obtenant des temps de basculement de bits macroscopiques, une \u00e9tape n\u00e9cessaire pour transposer ces qubits dynamiques dans des architectures mat\u00e9rielles efficaces et enti\u00e8rement prot\u00e9g\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Avec un syst\u00e8me qui se stabilise intrins\u00e8quement contre les changements de bits, seuls les changements de phase restent une source d&rsquo;erreur importante, qui peut \u00eatre corrig\u00e9e plus efficacement.
