Au Royaume d’Arabie Saoudite L\u2019\u00e9nerg\u00e9ticien Aramco signe un accord avec Pasqal pour d\u00e9ployer le premier ordinateur quantique<\/span><\/h3>\n

Pasqal, sp\u00e9cialiste de l\u2019informatique quantique construit des processeurs quantiques \u00e0 partir d’atomes neutres ordonn\u00e9s dans des r\u00e9seaux 2D et 3D pour apporter un avantage quantique pratique \u00e0 ses clients et r\u00e9soudre des probl\u00e8mes du monde r\u00e9el.\u00a0L’accord pr\u00e9voit l’installation, la maintenance et l’exploitation par Pasqal d’un ordinateur quantique de 200 qubits, dont le d\u00e9ploiement est pr\u00e9vu pour le second semestre 2025.<\/p>\n

Ahmad Al-Khowaiter, vice-pr\u00e9sident ex\u00e9cutif d’Aramco charg\u00e9 de la technologie et de l’innovation, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0Pasqal va apporter au Royaume des capacit\u00e9s d’informatique quantique de pointe et de haute performance. Dans un paysage num\u00e9rique qui \u00e9volue rapidement, nous pensons qu’il est essentiel de saisir les opportunit\u00e9s offertes par les nouvelles technologies \u00e0 fort impact et nous souhaitons \u00eatre les premiers \u00e0 utiliser l’informatique quantique dans le secteur de l’\u00e9nergie.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Georges-Olivier Reymond, PDG et cofondateur de Pasqal, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0L’\u00e8re de l’informatique quantique est arriv\u00e9e. Elle n’est plus confin\u00e9e \u00e0 la th\u00e9orie, elle est en train de passer aux applications du monde r\u00e9el, donnant aux organisations les moyens de r\u00e9soudre \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle des probl\u00e8mes jusqu’alors insolubles. Depuis le lancement de Pasqal en 2019, nous avons orient\u00e9 nos efforts vers des algorithmes concrets d’informatique quantique imm\u00e9diatement applicables aux cas d’utilisation des clients. \u00a0\u00bb L’ordinateur quantique utilisera dans un premier temps une approche appel\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0mode analogique\u00a0\u00bb. Au cours de l’ann\u00e9e suivante, le syst\u00e8me sera mis \u00e0 niveau vers un mode hybride \u00ab\u00a0analogique-num\u00e9rique\u00a0\u00bb plus avanc\u00e9, plus puissant et capable de r\u00e9soudre des probl\u00e8mes encore plus complexes.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Pasqal et Aramco ont l’intention de tirer parti de l’ordinateur quantique pour identifier de nouveaux cas d’utilisation, et ont l’ambition de cr\u00e9er un centre de recherche quantique en Arabie saoudite. Des institutions universitaires de premier plan y participeraient afin de favoriser les perc\u00e9es dans le d\u00e9veloppement d’algorithmes quantiques – une \u00e9tape cruciale pour lib\u00e9rer le v\u00e9ritable potentiel de l’informatique quantique.<\/p>\n
