Contrairement \u00e0 la RAM parall\u00e8le, qui n\u00e9cessite des bo\u00eetiers volumineux et au moins 26 \u00e0 35 I\/Os de microcontr\u00f4leur (MCU) pour s&rsquo;interfacer, les dispositifs SRAM s\u00e9rie Microchip sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans un bo\u00eetier \u00e0 8 broches moins co\u00fbteux et utilisent un bus de communication SPI\/SQI \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit qui ne n\u00e9cessite que 4 \u00e0 6 broches d&rsquo;I\/O MCU pour une int\u00e9gration facile. Cela r\u00e9duit le besoin d&rsquo;un MCU plus co\u00fbteux et \u00e0 nombre de broches \u00e9lev\u00e9 et contribue ainsi,\u00e0 minimiser l&rsquo;encombrement global de la carte.<\/p>\n<p>Pour rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 l&rsquo;inconv\u00e9nient le plus courant de la SRAM s\u00e9rie (la m\u00e9moire parall\u00e8le est plus rapide que la m\u00e9moire s\u00e9rie), les dispositifs SRAM s\u00e9rie de 2 Mo et 4 Mo ont augment\u00e9 la capacit\u00e9 de vitesse du bus \u00e0 143 MHz avec le quad SPI en option (4 bits par cycle d&rsquo;horloge), ce qui minimise consid\u00e9rablement l\u2019\u00e9cart de vitesse entre les solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab La SRAM s\u00e9rie est une solution populaire pour les ing\u00e9nieurs qui ont besoin de plus de RAM que celle disponible sur leur microcontr\u00f4leur, mais qui cherchent \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts et la taille globale de la carte \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jeff Leasure, directeur de l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 commerciale des produits de m\u00e9moire de Microchip. \u00ab\u00a0Les dispositifs SRAM s\u00e9rie 2 Mo et 4 Mo de Microchip sont destin\u00e9s \u00e0 remplacer la co\u00fbteuse SRAM parall\u00e8le par une alternative simple et rentable.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Les dispositifs SRAM s\u00e9rie compacts, \u00e0 faible consommation et hautes performances ont une endurance illimit\u00e9e et des temps d&rsquo;\u00e9criture nuls, ce qui en fait d&rsquo;excellentes options pour les applications impliquant un transfert de donn\u00e9es continu, une mise en m\u00e9moire tampon, un enregistrement de donn\u00e9es, un comptage et d&rsquo;autres applications \u00e0 forte intensit\u00e9 math\u00e9matique et de donn\u00e9es.
