La m\u00e9thode pourrait atteindre les seuils techniques requis pour un process de fabrication nominal de 5 nm, sans utiliser la lithographie par ultraviolet extr\u00eame (EUV), une technologie que la Chine ne peut techniquement importer en raison de sanctions US.<\/p>\n<p>Si le quadruple patterning peut \u00e9viter le recours \u00e0 l&rsquo;EUVL \u00e0 court terme, il ralentit la production de puces et pourrait encore avoir des cons\u00e9quences sur le rendement en production. D&rsquo;autres entreprises telles qu&rsquo;Intel, Samsung et TSMC utilisent l&rsquo;EUVL pour une raison bien pr\u00e9cise : malgr\u00e9 le co\u00fbt exorbitant des scanners EUVL, il s&rsquo;agit de la solution la plus rentable en termes de volume.<\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs, Samsung et TSMC sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 3nm et se dirigent vers 2nm. Le quadruple motif de la lumi\u00e8re DUV n&rsquo;aidera pas Huawei \u00e0 progresser au-del\u00e0 de 5 nm.<\/p>\n<p>SiCarrier (Shenzhen Xinkailai Technology Co.
