{"id":446939,"date":"2024-03-25T09:07:05","date_gmt":"2024-03-25T08:07:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/?p=446939"},"modified":"2024-03-25T09:07:52","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T08:07:52","slug":"delta-envisage-une-conversion-directe-de-48v-a-07v-pour-les-gpu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/delta-envisage-une-conversion-directe-de-48v-a-07v-pour-les-gpu\/","title":{"rendered":"Delta envisage une conversion directe de 48V \u00e0 0,7V pour les GPU"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Delta d\u00e9veloppe la conversion directe du bus d&rsquo;alimentation des centres de donn\u00e9es de 48 V en 0,7 V afin d&rsquo;alimenter la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d&rsquo;unit\u00e9s de traitement graphique (GPU) pour l&rsquo;intelligence artificielle.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Les convertisseurs CC-CC verticaux de la s\u00e9rie VR d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s par Delta ont une hauteur de profil de seulement 4 mm et peuvent fonctionner avec des commutateurs GaN jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 5 MHz. La conversion directe permet de r\u00e9duire entre 5 et 15 % les pertes d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie en assemblant le module d&rsquo;alimentation \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re des puces d&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration GPU.<\/p>\n<p>Elles sont accompagn\u00e9es de selfs d&rsquo;alimentation simples, doubles et quadruples au profil similaire, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es lors de la conf\u00e9rence GTC de Nvidia qui s&rsquo;est tenue en Californie. Ces selfs comportent des enroulements suppl\u00e9mentaires qui leur permettent de communiquer entre les phases de l&rsquo;alimentation afin de r\u00e9partir la charge de courant.<\/p>\n<p>Delta envisage la distribution de courant continu haute tension de 800 Vcc \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur des centres de donn\u00e9es avec une armoire modulaire Solid State Transformer (SST) et une unit\u00e9 d&rsquo;alimentation CC-CC\u00a0 de 80 kW pour convertir le courant continu de 800 Vcc en tension de bus de 50 Vcc au niveau des racks. Ce dernier serait alors converti directement en 0,7V au lieu du bus interm\u00e9diaire de 12V utilis\u00e9 aujourd&rsquo;hui.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0\u00c0 mesure que la proportion de GPU augmente dans l&rsquo;informatique d&rsquo;IA, la consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie mondiale des centres de donn\u00e9es devrait plus que doubler pour atteindre plus de 1 000 milliards de kWh d&rsquo;ici 2026\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Ralf Pieper, le directeur R&amp;D de l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 commerciale Custom Design de Delta. \u00ab\u00a0Entre 2010 et 2022, les solutions de Delta ont permis \u00e0 nos clients du monde entier d&rsquo;\u00e9conomiser plus de 39,9 milliards de kWh d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. Notre expertise en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;alimentation des serveurs \u00e0 haut rendement et de convertisseurs CC-CC, ainsi que d&rsquo;infrastructures TIC et \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques, nous permet d&rsquo;\u00eatre le fer de lance du d\u00e9veloppement de solutions capables de soutenir la m\u00e9gatendance de l&rsquo;IA en optimisant le cycle de conversion de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie entre le r\u00e9seau et la puce.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Les racks ORV3 et les barres de bus 50Vdc pour l&rsquo;infrastructure d&rsquo;alimentation centralis\u00e9e de l&rsquo;IA comprennent des \u00e9tag\u00e8res de 48kW avec des unit\u00e9s d&rsquo;alimentation de 8000W, augmentant l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 97,5%, et des racks de 33kW avec des unit\u00e9s ORV3 HPR de 5500W.<\/p>\n<p>Un dispositif d&rsquo;\u00e9cr\u00eatement des pointes (PLSS) de 22 kW avec 3 unit\u00e9s \u00e0 double fente de 7,33 kW et des supercondensateurs r\u00e9duisent la pression de la puissance d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e et am\u00e9liorent la fiabilit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me.
