{"id":444038,"date":"2024-02-19T09:35:48","date_gmt":"2024-02-19T08:35:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/?p=444038"},"modified":"2024-02-19T09:37:16","modified_gmt":"2024-02-19T08:37:16","slug":"imec-lance-un-pdk-pathfinding-pour-puces-2-nm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/imec-lance-un-pdk-pathfinding-pour-puces-2-nm\/","title":{"rendered":"Imec lance un PDK pathfinding pour puces 2 nm"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Imec, le laboratoire de recherche belge a mis au point le premier kit public de conception de processus (PDK) pour la conception de puces 2 nm de la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.<\/h3>\n<p>imec lance le PDK 2nm lors de la 2024 IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) cette semaine avec un programme de formation offert par le biais de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de conseil Europractice.<\/p>\n<p>Le PDK permettra des conceptions num\u00e9riques virtuelles dans la technologie N2 d&rsquo;imec, y compris le r\u00e9seau de distribution d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie sur la face arri\u00e8re. Imec travaille avec les principales fonderies sur la technologie des processus et a donc une compr\u00e9hension d\u00e9taill\u00e9e des exigences de conception \u00e0 2 nm qui utilisent des transistors \u00e0 feuillets nanom\u00e9triques.<\/p>\n<p>Le PDK sera int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans des suites d&rsquo;outils EDA, tels que Cadence Design Systems et Synopsys, offrant un large acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des n\u0153uds avanc\u00e9s pour la d\u00e9finition des trajectoires de conception, la recherche de syst\u00e8mes et la formation.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;objectif est de fournir aux universit\u00e9s et \u00e0 l&rsquo;industrie des outils pour former les concepteurs et assurer la transition des produits vers les technologies 2 nm de la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration dans l&rsquo;ensemble de l&rsquo;industrie.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/samsung-to-ship-2nm-chips-in-2025-broaden-foundry-offering\/\">Samsung \u00e9largit sa fonderie et exp\u00e9diera des puces \u00e0 2 nm en 2025<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/arm-edges-closer-to-full-2nm-chip-designs-with-total-design\/\">ARM se rapproche de la conception de puces \u00e0 2 nm avec Total Design<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/synopsys-tools-tape-out-2nm-chips-at-tsmc\/\">Les outils de Synopsys produisent des puces 2 nm chez TSMC <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les PDK de Foundry permettent aux concepteurs de puces d&rsquo;acc\u00e9der \u00e0 une biblioth\u00e8que de composants test\u00e9s et \u00e9prouv\u00e9s afin d&rsquo;obtenir des conceptions fonctionnelles et fiables. Ceux-ci sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement mis \u00e0 la disposition de l&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me une fois que la technologie a atteint un niveau critique de fabricabilit\u00e9. Cependant, l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s restreint et la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de conclure des accords de confidentialit\u00e9 ont cr\u00e9\u00e9 un seuil \u00e9lev\u00e9 pour l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s des universit\u00e9s et de l&rsquo;industrie aux n\u0153uds technologiques avanc\u00e9s au cours de leur d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Si nous voulons attirer une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de concepteurs de puces, nous devons leur fournir un acc\u00e8s rapide \u00e0 l&rsquo;infrastructure n\u00e9cessaire pour d\u00e9velopper leurs comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de conception sur les n\u0153uds technologiques les plus avanc\u00e9s. Les cours de formation qui l&rsquo;accompagnent permettront \u00e0 ces concepteurs de se mettre au diapason le plus rapidement possible et de se familiariser avec les ruptures technologiques les plus r\u00e9centes, telles que les dispositifs nanosheet et la technologie wafer backside\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Julien Ryckaert, vice-pr\u00e9sident de Logic Technologies.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Le PDK d&rsquo;aide \u00e0 la conception aidera \u00e9galement les entreprises \u00e0 faire \u00e9voluer leurs conceptions vers les technologies futures et d&rsquo;anticiper les goulets d&rsquo;\u00e9tranglement li\u00e9s \u00e0 la mise \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle de leurs produits\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Le PDK design pathfinding contient l&rsquo;infrastructure n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 la conception num\u00e9rique bas\u00e9e sur un ensemble de biblioth\u00e8ques de cellules num\u00e9riques standard et de macros SRAM IP. \u00c0 l&rsquo;avenir, la plateforme PDK de recherche de chemin de conception sera \u00e9tendue \u00e0 des n\u0153uds plus avanc\u00e9s (par exemple A14).<\/p>\n<p>Le programme de formation 2nm PDK d\u00e9butera au d\u00e9but du deuxi\u00e8me trimestre et enseignera les sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s du n\u0153ud technologique N2 et offrira une formation pratique sur les plates-formes de conception num\u00e9rique utilisant les logiciels EDA de Cadence et de Synopsys.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/intel-looks-to-1nm-for-trillion-transistor-chips\/\">Intel s&rsquo;int\u00e9resse aux puces \u00e0 1 nm pour des trillions de transistors<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/backside-power-is-key-to-1nm-scaling-says-intel\/\">Selon Intel, la puissance de l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re-plan est la cl\u00e9 de la mise \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle en 1 nm<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/imec-asml-team-for-pilot-line-for-sub-1nm-development\/\">imec et ASML s&rsquo;associent pour cr\u00e9er une ligne pilote pour le d\u00e9veloppement de la technologie sub-1nm<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Il est essentiel pour l&rsquo;industrie des semiconducteurs de former une main-d&rsquo;\u0153uvre technique dot\u00e9e des technologies n\u00e9cessaires au d\u00e9veloppement de produits r\u00e9volutionnaires\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Brandon Wang, vice-pr\u00e9sident de la strat\u00e9gie technique et des partenariats strat\u00e9giques chez Synopsys.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Le PDK d&rsquo;Imec est un excellent exemple de la mani\u00e8re dont les partenariats industriels peuvent \u00e9largir l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la technologie des processus avanc\u00e9s pour la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration actuelle et future de concepteurs afin d&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l&rsquo;innovation dans le domaine des semiconducteurs.
