{"id":441736,"date":"2024-01-21T09:46:06","date_gmt":"2024-01-21T08:46:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/?p=441736"},"modified":"2024-01-20T14:55:31","modified_gmt":"2024-01-20T13:55:31","slug":"imec-fabrique-des-del-en-perovskite-1000-fois-plus-lumineuses-que-les-oled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/imec-fabrique-des-del-en-perovskite-1000-fois-plus-lumineuses-que-les-oled\/","title":{"rendered":"IMEC fabrique des DEL en p\u00e9rovskite 1000 fois plus lumineuses que les OLED"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>L&rsquo;institut de recherche en nano\u00e9lectronique IMEC en Belgique a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une pile de DEL en p\u00e9rovskite \u00e0 halog\u00e9nures m\u00e9talliques qui est 1 000 fois plus lumineuse que les OLED et qui pourrait servir de mat\u00e9riau pour les lasers.<\/h2>\n<p>Les LED organiques sont plus faciles \u00e0 fabriquer et \u00e0 assembler sous forme d&rsquo;\u00e9crans que les LED III-V, mais elles pr\u00e9sentent l&rsquo;inconv\u00e9nient d&rsquo;\u00eatre environ 300 fois moins lumineuses. L&rsquo;IMEC (Louvain, Belgique) a publi\u00e9 un article sur un mat\u00e9riau p\u00e9rovskite capable de transcender cette limitation et de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer un gain sous la forme d&rsquo;une \u00e9mission spontan\u00e9e amplifi\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Les mat\u00e9riaux \u00e0 structure p\u00e9rovskite sont ceux dont la structure cristalline est similaire \u00e0 celle de CaTiO3. Ils pr\u00e9sentent \u00e9galement d&rsquo;excellentes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s opto\u00e9lectriques, un transport de charge efficace &#8211; ce qui signifie qu&rsquo;ils peuvent supporter des courants \u00e9lev\u00e9s &#8211; et un traitement peu co\u00fbteux.<\/p>\n<p>Ils ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 fait leurs preuves dans les applications photovolta\u00efques. Si elles peuvent \u00eatre empil\u00e9es pour former des diodes laser d&rsquo;une luminosit\u00e9 comparable ou sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle des diodes laser III-V conventionnelles, cela promet des applications dans les domaines de la projection d&rsquo;images, de la d\u00e9tection environnementale et du diagnostic m\u00e9dical.<\/p>\n<h4>Ultra-Lux<\/h4>\n<p>Dans le cadre du <a href=\"https:\/\/erc-ultralux.eu\/\">projet Ultra-Lux<\/a>, l&rsquo;IMEC a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un mat\u00e9riau LED transparent en p\u00e9rovskite (PeLED), qui a fait l&rsquo;objet d&rsquo;un article dans <em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41566-023-01341-7\">Nature Photonics<\/a> <\/em>. Les chercheurs ont utilis\u00e9 des impulsions optiques de 2,3ns \u00e0 77K et ont obtenu une \u00e9mission spontan\u00e9e amplifi\u00e9e. Avec des impulsions sub-microsecondes plus longues, les chercheurs ont obtenu des densit\u00e9s de courant de 3 kA par centim\u00e8tre carr\u00e9 et des valeurs d&rsquo;irradiation de 40 W par centim\u00e8tre carr\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le directeur de recherche du projet est le professeur Paul Heremans, membre de l&rsquo;IMEC. Il a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0Dans le projet Ultra-Lux, l&rsquo;IMEC a montr\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois une architecture PeLED avec de faibles pertes optiques et a pomp\u00e9 ces PeLED \u00e0 des densit\u00e9s de courant qui soutiennent l&rsquo;\u00e9mission stimul\u00e9e de lumi\u00e8re.
