Bon nombre de ces ressources \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques propres telle que l&rsquo;hydraulique n\u00e9cessitent des quantit\u00e9s consid\u00e9rables d&rsquo;eau. Or, les ressources possibles en eau sont limit\u00e9es. En raison du prix de plus en plus comp\u00e9titif de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie solaire (PV), celle-ci est de plus en plus d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e et mise en \u0153uvre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Une alternative au solaire photovolta\u00efque<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mais il existe d&rsquo;autres syst\u00e8mes solaires que le photovolta\u00efque. Au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, la centrale \u00e0 tour solaire (STPP) a suscit\u00e9 un int\u00e9r\u00eat croissant en raison de ses co\u00fbts de production \u00e9conomiques et de sa conception simple, comme l&rsquo;ont sugg\u00e9r\u00e9 Zhou et al. et Dhahri et Omri lors de l&rsquo;examen de ce concept. Les r\u00e9sultats pr\u00e9liminaires rapport\u00e9s sur la productivit\u00e9 de la STPP \u00e9taient dans la plupart des cas bas\u00e9s sur la mod\u00e9lisation math\u00e9matique.<\/p>\n<p id=\"p0245\">Le premier prototype de STPP a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit avec succ\u00e8s en 1982, en Espagne. Le prototype se compose d&rsquo;un collecteur de base, d&rsquo;une tour et d&rsquo;une turbine m\u00e9canique situ\u00e9e \u00e0 la base de la tour. La base et le collecteur r\u00e9chauffent l&rsquo;air int\u00e9rieur en absorbant et en transmettant le rayonnement solaire. Finalement, l&rsquo;air chauff\u00e9 atteindra et s&rsquo;accumulera \u00e0 l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e de la tour. Par cons\u00e9quent, les diff\u00e9rences de densit\u00e9 cr\u00e9ent une diff\u00e9rence de pression dans la tour. L&rsquo;air chaud s&rsquo;\u00e9coule donc vers le haut de la tour, faisant tourner les pales de la turbine et produisant de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie m\u00e9canique.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La technologie n\u00e9cessite des d\u00e9veloppements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"p0250\">Les mod\u00e8les STPP sont \u00e9tudi\u00e9s et cherchent \u00e0 \u00eatre d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s et am\u00e9lior\u00e9s, et il y a eu de nombreuses propositions depuis le premier mod\u00e8le espagnol. Cependant, la mise en \u0153uvre pratique de la STPP se heurte \u00e0 de nombreux obstacles : son rendement thermique est faible, elle n\u00e9cessite un vaste terrain et son co\u00fbt peut \u00eatre \u00e9lev\u00e9. Un bassin d&rsquo;eau distill\u00e9e peut \u00eatre ajout\u00e9 \u00e0 la base pour produire de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et de l&rsquo;eau.
