{"id":438910,"date":"2023-12-08T18:46:44","date_gmt":"2023-12-08T17:46:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/?p=438910"},"modified":"2023-12-08T18:48:31","modified_gmt":"2023-12-08T17:48:31","slug":"premier-reseau-neuronal-memristor-complet-pour-lia-medicale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/premier-reseau-neuronal-memristor-complet-pour-lia-medicale\/","title":{"rendered":"Premier r\u00e9seau neuronal memristor complet pour l&rsquo;IA m\u00e9dicale"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Des chercheurs fran\u00e7ais ont mis au point un r\u00e9seau neuronal bas\u00e9 sur la technologie des memristors qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour des analyses m\u00e9dicales en situation r\u00e9elle.<\/h3>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe du CEA-Leti, du CEA-List et de deux laboratoires du CNRS a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re impl\u00e9mentation compl\u00e8te d&rsquo;un r\u00e9seau neuronal bay\u00e9sien \u00e0 base de memristors pour une t\u00e2che d&rsquo;IA r\u00e9elle, la classification des types d&rsquo;enregistrements d&rsquo;arythmie avec une incertitude al\u00e9atoire et \u00e9pist\u00e9mique pr\u00e9cise.<\/p>\n<p>En ce qui concerne le diagnostic m\u00e9dical et d&rsquo;autres applications de traitement sensoriel essentielles \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 qui n\u00e9cessitent des d\u00e9cisions pr\u00e9cises bas\u00e9es sur une petite quantit\u00e9 de donn\u00e9es d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e bruyantes, l&rsquo;\u00e9tude souligne que si les r\u00e9seaux neuronaux bay\u00e9siens excellent dans ces t\u00e2ches parce qu&rsquo;ils fournissent une \u00e9valuation pr\u00e9dictive de l&rsquo;incertitude, la nature probabiliste exige une utilisation accrue de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie et des calculs. L&rsquo;augmentation est due au fait que la mise en \u0153uvre des r\u00e9seaux dans le mat\u00e9riel n\u00e9cessite un g\u00e9n\u00e9rateur de nombres al\u00e9atoires pour stocker les distributions de probabilit\u00e9, les poids synaptiques.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Notre article pr\u00e9sente, pour la premi\u00e8re fois, une impl\u00e9mentation mat\u00e9rielle compl\u00e8te d&rsquo;un r\u00e9seau neuronal bay\u00e9sien utilisant la variabilit\u00e9 intrins\u00e8que des memristors pour stocker ces distributions de probabilit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Elisa Vianello, scientifique en chef du CEA-Leti et co-auteur de l&rsquo;article intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Bringing Uncertainty Quantification to the Extreme-Edge with Memristor-Based Bayesian Neural Networks\u00a0\u00bb (Amener la quantification de l&rsquo;incertitude \u00e0 l&rsquo;extr\u00eame avec les r\u00e9seaux neuronaux bay\u00e9siens bas\u00e9s sur les memristors). \u00ab\u00a0Nous avons exploit\u00e9 la variabilit\u00e9 intrins\u00e8que des memristors pour stocker ces distributions de probabilit\u00e9s, au lieu d&rsquo;utiliser des g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs de nombres al\u00e9atoires\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/memristors-drive-digital-reservoir-neural-network\/\">R\u00e9seau neuronal \u00e0 r\u00e9servoir num\u00e9rique pilot\u00e9 par des memristors<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/memory-circuit-can-learn-for-neuromorphic-ai\/\">Un circuit de m\u00e9moire peut apprendre pour l&rsquo;IA neuromorphique<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"%0b%0dScientists%20create%20brain%20synapses%20array%20using%20memristors%20..%20...%0dhttps:\/www.eenewseurope.com%20%E2%80%BA%20scientists-create-brai...%0d\">Des scientifiques cr\u00e9ent un r\u00e9seau de synapses c\u00e9r\u00e9brales \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de memristors<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/48-core-neuromorphic-ai-chip-uses-resistive-memory\/\">Une puce d&rsquo;IA neuromorphique de 48 c\u0153urs utilise une m\u00e9moire r\u00e9sistive<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Un deuxi\u00e8me d\u00e9fi majeur \u00e9tait que l&rsquo;inf\u00e9rence dans l&rsquo;approche de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe n\u00e9cessite des op\u00e9rations parall\u00e8les massives de multiplication et d&rsquo;accumulation (MAC).<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Ces op\u00e9rations sont gourmandes en \u00e9nergie lorsqu&rsquo;elles sont effectu\u00e9es sur des ASIC CMOS et des r\u00e9seaux de portes programmables, en raison de la navette des donn\u00e9es entre le processeur et la m\u00e9moire\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Vianello. \u00ab\u00a0Dans notre solution, nous utilisons des barres transversales de memristors qui mettent naturellement en \u0153uvre la multiplication entre la tension d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e et le poids synaptique probabiliste par la loi d&rsquo;Ohm, et l&rsquo;accumulation par la loi du courant de Kirchhoff, afin de r\u00e9duire de mani\u00e8re significative la consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9quipe a \u00e9galement d\u00fb concilier la nature des memristors, dont les effets statistiques respectent les lois de la physique des dispositifs, avec les r\u00e9seaux neuronaux bay\u00e9siens, dans lesquels ces effets peuvent prendre des formes arbitraires.<\/p>\n<p>Ce travail rel\u00e8ve ce d\u00e9fi gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un nouvel algorithme d&rsquo;apprentissage &#8211; l&rsquo;inf\u00e9rence variationnelle augment\u00e9e d&rsquo;une \u00ab\u00a0perte technologique\u00a0\u00bb &#8211; qui tient compte des non-id\u00e9alit\u00e9s de l&rsquo;appareil pendant la phase d&rsquo;apprentissage\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Damien Querlioz, chercheur \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Paris-Saclay, au Centre national fran\u00e7ais de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) et au Centre de nanosciences et de nanotechnologies (CNN). \u00ab\u00a0Notre approche permet au r\u00e9seau neuronal bay\u00e9sien d&rsquo;\u00eatre compatible avec les imperfections de nos memristors\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.leti-cea.com\/\">www.leti-cea.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Des chercheurs fran\u00e7ais ont mis au point un r\u00e9seau neuronal bas\u00e9 sur la technologie des memristors qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour des analyses m\u00e9dicales en situation r\u00e9elle.
