L&rsquo;inclusion d&rsquo;une \u00e9tape suppl\u00e9mentaire dans le flux de fabrication a entra\u00een\u00e9 une augmentation significative du signal tout en conservant le m\u00eame faible bruit de fond, sans affecter n\u00e9gativement les param\u00e8tres tels que le taux de comptage d&rsquo;obscurit\u00e9, la post-impulsion et la tension de claquage. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette derni\u00e8re variante, X-FAB \u00e9tend avec succ\u00e8s la port\u00e9e de son offre SPAD, am\u00e9liorant ainsi sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 de nombreuses applications \u00e9mergentes o\u00f9 le fonctionnement NIR s&rsquo;av\u00e8re d&rsquo;une importance cruciale. Parmi ceux-ci figurent la d\u00e9tection du temps de vol dans les applications industrielles, l\u2019imagerie LiDAR des v\u00e9hicules, la biophotonique et les travaux de recherche FLIM, ainsi qu\u2019une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019activit\u00e9s li\u00e9es \u00e0 la m\u00e9decine. La sensibilit\u00e9 est renforc\u00e9e sur toute la bande proche infrarouge (NIR), avec des am\u00e9liorations respectives de 40 % et 35 % aux longueurs d&rsquo;onde cl\u00e9s de 850 nm et 905 nm.<br \/>\nL&rsquo;utilisation des nouveaux dispositifs SPAD r\u00e9duira la complexit\u00e9 du filtrage de la lumi\u00e8re visible, puisque les UV et la lumi\u00e8re visible sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 supprim\u00e9s. La conception des filtres sera par cons\u00e9quent plus simple, avec moins de composants impliqu\u00e9s. De plus, le fait d&rsquo;avoir exactement les m\u00eames dimensions d&rsquo;encombrement que la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration SPAD pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente offre une voie de mise \u00e0 niveau simple. Les conceptions existantes des clients peuvent b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d&rsquo;avantages majeurs en termes de performances en \u00e9changeant simplement les nouveaux appareils.<br \/>\nX-FAB a compil\u00e9 un PDK complet pour la variante SPAD proche infrarouge, avec une documentation compl\u00e8te et des notes d&rsquo;application. Les mod\u00e8les de simulation optique et \u00e9lectrique fourniront aux ing\u00e9nieurs le support de conception suppl\u00e9mentaire dont ils ont besoin, leur permettant d&rsquo;int\u00e9grer ces dispositifs dans leurs circuits dans un court laps de temps.
