Ce copilote dot\u00e9 d&rsquo;une intelligence artificielle (IA) peut d\u00e9tecter si un pilote humain n\u00e9glige une situation critique et intervenir pour pr\u00e9venir les incidents potentiels.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9pine dorsale d&rsquo;Air-Guardian est un nouveau syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;apprentissage en profondeur appel\u00e9 Liquid Neural Networks (LNN), d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par le Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL) du MIT. Les LNN ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 leur efficacit\u00e9 dans diff\u00e9rents domaines. Leur impact potentiel est important, en particulier dans les domaines qui n\u00e9cessitent des syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;IA efficaces en termes de calcul et explicables, o\u00f9 ils pourraient constituer une alternative viable aux mod\u00e8les d&rsquo;apprentissage profond populaires actuels.<\/p>\n<p>Air-Guardian utilise une m\u00e9thode unique pour am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des vols. Il surveille \u00e0 la fois l&rsquo;attention du pilote humain et celle de l&rsquo;IA, et identifie les cas o\u00f9 les deux ne s&rsquo;accordent pas. Si le pilote humain n\u00e9glige un aspect critique, le syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;IA intervient et prend le contr\u00f4le de cet \u00e9l\u00e9ment de vol particulier.<\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me \u00ab\u00a0human-in-the-loop\u00a0\u00bb est con\u00e7u pour maintenir le contr\u00f4le du pilote tout en permettant \u00e0 l&rsquo;IA de combler les lacunes. \u00ab\u00a0L&rsquo;id\u00e9e est de concevoir des syst\u00e8mes capables de collaborer avec les humains. Dans les cas o\u00f9 l&rsquo;homme doit relever des d\u00e9fis pour prendre le contr\u00f4le de quelque chose, l&rsquo;IA peut l&rsquo;aider.
