{"id":433523,"date":"2023-10-02T19:30:35","date_gmt":"2023-10-02T17:30:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/?p=433523"},"modified":"2023-10-03T08:48:16","modified_gmt":"2023-10-03T06:48:16","slug":"premiere-puce-photonique-au-silicium-800g-commerciale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ecinews.fr\/fr\/premiere-puce-photonique-au-silicium-800g-commerciale\/","title":{"rendered":"Premi\u00e8re puce photonique 800 Gb\/s commerciale"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">DustPhotonics a annonc\u00e9 le premier circuit int\u00e9gr\u00e9 photonique (PIC) 800G, adapt\u00e9 aux applications DR8 et DR8+, qui offre 8 canaux optiques modul\u00e9s ind\u00e9pendamment \u00e0 100 Gb\/s pour une bande passante totale de 800 Gb\/s.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>La puce photonique est con\u00e7ue dans un bo\u00eetier compact de 7,5 x 7 mm, ce qui lui permet d&rsquo;\u00eatre utilis\u00e9e dans les facteurs de forme QSFP et OSFP standard de l&rsquo;industrie. Le PIC est adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 des port\u00e9es allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 2 km dans des applications telles que les centres de donn\u00e9es \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle et les clusters d&rsquo;intelligence artificielle et d&rsquo;apprentissage automatique.<\/p>\n<p>Le PIC comprend des lasers sur puce, incorporant la technologie brevet\u00e9e L3C (low-loss laser coupling) de DustPhotonics, ce qui permet d&rsquo;int\u00e9grer au PIC des lasers pr\u00eats \u00e0 l&#8217;emploi provenant de diff\u00e9rents fabricants. Ce qui donne des avantages en termes de performance des produits, de co\u00fbt, de puissance et d&rsquo;\u00e9volutivit\u00e9 de la cha\u00eene d&rsquo;approvisionnement.<\/p>\n<p>DustPhotonics fait la d\u00e9monstration de cette puce photonique \u00e0 l&rsquo;ECOC de Glasgow, en \u00c9cosse, dans de multiples configurations &#8211; y compris une application traditionnelle 800GBASE-DR8, une application de refroidissement par immersion et une application \u00e0 port\u00e9e r\u00e9duite. La d\u00e9monstration du refroidissement par immersion montre comment cette puce est adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;immersion dans un liquide de refroidissement, puisqu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas d&rsquo;interface en espace libre entre le laser et le PIC ou \u00e0 l&rsquo;interface de fixation de la fibre \u00e0 la sortie optique de la puce. Pour les applications \u00e0 port\u00e9e r\u00e9duite, DustPhotonics fait la d\u00e9monstration d&rsquo;une deuxi\u00e8me version du produit, dont le co\u00fbt a \u00e9t\u00e9 optimis\u00e9 et qui convient aux \u00e9metteurs-r\u00e9cepteurs ou aux c\u00e2bles optiques actifs (AOC) jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 100 m, ou aux applications LPO (linear-drive pluggable optic).<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous constatons une forte demande de la part de nos clients pour cette application 800G, et nous mettons en \u00e9vidence la large gamme d&rsquo;applications que nous prenons en charge\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Ronnen Lovinger, PDG de DustPhotonics. \u00ab\u00a0Nous sommes bien positionn\u00e9s pour la prochaine phase de l&rsquo;entreprise, qui consistera \u00e0 passer \u00e0 la fabrication
