(Binyamina, Isra\u00ebl), fond\u00e9e en novembre 2018, d\u00e9veloppe un haut-parleur audio MEMS bas\u00e9 sur les ultrasons.<\/h2>\n<p>Ce syst\u00e8me est cens\u00e9 fournir un son am\u00e9lior\u00e9 dans les petits facteurs de forme \u00e0 la fois aux basses et hautes fr\u00e9quences et un fonctionnement \u00e9tendu jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 20 kHz et au-del\u00e0. Les applications du syst\u00e8me \u00e0 ultrasons concernent donc les \u00ab\u00a0suspects habituels\u00a0\u00bb des appareils auditifs : oreillettes, casques et lunettes de r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e et virtuelle, \u00e9couteurs et aides auditives.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les autres avantages revendiqu\u00e9s des haut-parleurs SonicEdge, citons leur taille r\u00e9duite, l&rsquo;absence de vibrations et la r\u00e9duction de la taille de la cavit\u00e9 arri\u00e8re. L&rsquo;entreprise vise d&rsquo;abord le march\u00e9 des \u00e9couteurs et des oreillettes True Wireless System (TWS), o\u00f9 les haut-parleurs SonicEdge pourraient permettre de fabriquer des \u00e9couteurs plus petits et de meilleure qualit\u00e9 sonore.<\/p>\n<p>Le principe de l&rsquo;utilisation de la modulation d&rsquo;une porteuse d&rsquo;ultrasons pour produire un son conventionnel est bien connu comme moyen de produire un son diffus\u00e9 et localis\u00e9. Dans ce contexte, une m\u00e9thode consiste \u00e0 utiliser l&rsquo;interf\u00e9rence h\u00e9t\u00e9rodyne de deux faisceaux ultrasonores pour obtenir un son conventionnel uniquement \u00e0 l&rsquo;endroit o\u00f9 les deux faisceaux ultrasonores se croisent.<\/p>\n<p>Les haut-parleurs SonicEdge utilisent des haut-parleurs MEMS int\u00e9gr\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re monolithique pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer un signal ultrasonore modul\u00e9 \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;un r\u00e9seau d&rsquo;environ 200 g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs d&rsquo;ultrasons dans une matrice de 3,5 mm par 3,5 mm. Les ultrasons sont transform\u00e9s en sons audibles par un transformateur de fr\u00e9quence acoustom\u00e9canique &#8211; ou grille m\u00e9tallique. Cela permet de cr\u00e9er une source de vitesse d&rsquo;air \u00e0 volume constant, quelle que soit la fr\u00e9quence.
