La feuille de route pr\u00e9voit le d\u00e9ploiement de performances allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 36 exaFLOPS,<\/p>\n<p>Le supercalculateur a \u00e9t\u00e9 command\u00e9 par G42, la principale soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d&rsquo;IA et de cloud des \u00c9mirats arabes unis. Il s&rsquo;agit du premier d&rsquo;une s\u00e9rie de neuf supercalculateurs qui seront construits et exploit\u00e9s dans le cadre d&rsquo;un partenariat strat\u00e9gique entre Cerebras et G42. Une fois achev\u00e9s en 2024, les neuf superordinateurs interconnect\u00e9s disposeront de 36 ExaFLOPS de calcul d&rsquo;IA, ce qui en fera l&rsquo;un des superordinateurs d&rsquo;IA dans le cloud les plus puissants au monde.<\/p>\n<p>CG-1 est situ\u00e9 \u00e0 Santa Clara, en Californie, dans le centre de donn\u00e9es de Colovore. Cerebras s&rsquo;appr\u00eate \u00e0 partager les r\u00e9sultats d&rsquo;un nouveau mod\u00e8le entra\u00een\u00e9 sur CG-1 lors d&rsquo;une conf\u00e9rence qui aura lieu la semaine prochaine.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/power-integrity-for-waferscale-ai-with-400000-cores\/\">Int\u00e9grit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;alimentation pour l&rsquo;IA \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle de la plaquette avec 400 000 c\u0153urs <\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/power-shortages-hold-back-data-centres\/\">Les p\u00e9nuries d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 freinent les centres de donn\u00e9es <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le supercalculateur d&rsquo;IA est rendu possible gr\u00e2ce au Cerebras Wafer-Scale Cluster, une nouvelle architecture de syst\u00e8me qui permet de connecter jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 192 syst\u00e8mes Cerebras CS-2 et de les faire fonctionner comme un seul acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur logique. La conception d\u00e9couple la m\u00e9moire du calcul, ce qui nous permet de d\u00e9ployer des t\u00e9raoctets de m\u00e9moire pour les mod\u00e8les d&rsquo;IA plut\u00f4t que les gigaoctets possibles avec les GPU.<\/p>\n<p>Cette m\u00e9thode est combin\u00e9e avec le \u00ab\u00a0weight streaming\u00a0\u00bb, une nouvelle fa\u00e7on d&rsquo;entra\u00eener de grands mod\u00e8les sur des grappes de taille r\u00e9duite en utilisant uniquement le parall\u00e9lisme des donn\u00e9es. Cela permet d&rsquo;exploiter les fonctions de calcul et de m\u00e9moire \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle du mat\u00e9riel de traitement \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du wafer et de distribuer le travail en diffusant le mod\u00e8le une couche \u00e0 la fois de mani\u00e8re purement parall\u00e8le.<\/p>\n<p>Ces deux technologies ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9es en novembre 2022 pour le supercalculateur Andromeda AI avec 16 clusters qui a atteint 1 exaFLOP. Ce projet a fourni une conception de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour les clusters \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du wafer de Cerebras, ainsi qu&rsquo;une plateforme pour l&rsquo;entra\u00eenement de grands mod\u00e8les g\u00e9n\u00e9ratifs, ce qui a permis \u00e0 Cerebras d&rsquo;entra\u00eener sept grands mod\u00e8les linguistiques GPT open source en quelques semaines seulement. C&rsquo;est devenu l&rsquo;offre phare de Cerebras Cloud.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/ai-software-platform-enables-giant-model-training\/\">La plateforme logicielle d&rsquo;IA permet l&rsquo;entra\u00eenement de mod\u00e8les g\u00e9ants<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/cerebras-announces-second-generation-wafer-scale-processor\/\">Cerebras annonce un moteur de deuxi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du wafer<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenewseurope.com\/en\/exascale-wafer-scale-supercomputer-has-13-5m-cores\/\">Le supercalculateur Exascale \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle de la plaquette poss\u00e8de 13,5 millions de c\u0153urs<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La configuration de base prend en charge 600 milliards de param\u00e8tres, extensibles jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 100 billions, avec 386 t\u00e9rabits de bande passante interne pour le cluster, reliant 72 704 c\u0153urs de processeurs AMD EPYC Gen 3.<\/p>\n<p>Condor Galaxy sera d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 en quatre phases au cours de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e \u00e0 venir. CG-1 se compose aujourd&rsquo;hui de 32 syst\u00e8mes CS-2 et est op\u00e9rationnel dans le centre de donn\u00e9es de Colovore \u00e0 Santa Clara.<\/p>\n<p>La phase 2 doublera l&#8217;empreinte du CG-1, l&rsquo;\u00e9tendant \u00e0 64 syst\u00e8mes CS-2 \u00e0 4 exaFLOPS. Un syst\u00e8me de 64 n\u0153uds repr\u00e9sente une instance compl\u00e8te de superordinateur. La phase 3 consiste en deux instances compl\u00e8tes suppl\u00e9mentaires \u00e0 travers les \u00c9tats-Unis, ce qui porte le total des calculs d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s \u00e0 3 centres \u00e0 12 exaFLOPS.<\/p>\n<p>La phase 4 comprendra six autres centres de supercalcul, ce qui portera la base d&rsquo;installation compl\u00e8te \u00e0 9 instances \u00e0 36 exaFLOPS de calcul d&rsquo;IA.
